Olya, I meant both somehow, but was too lazy to put it down.

When I was young I actually believed someone with such unbecoming features just had to develop congeniality and kindness towards others. But the equation "Ugly = goodnatured and gracious personalty" was proven wrong eventually (and long long before Mr Weinstein turned up on the screens).

Thank you for explaining better Smiley Well, there is some truth though I think in what you wrote, though exceptions always exist Wink

Louis Spencer is very cute  (of course, waaaaay too young for me, but I have lovely daughters)

Samuel and Arthur Chatto, I spotted one of them in pics from the Queen’s big Christmas lunch (possibly Samuel) and bears a strong resemblance to his grandmother, and is very handsome.

They're definitely good looking but I heard that one of them (maybe Sam) is a bit of a d-bag.... Whistle

I did not know that Deja! Star Honestly, he seems harmless but I have to admit I think of Mr Toad from Wind in the Willows every time I see him Secret

This was definitely one of his better appearances, I think the two cute puppies help.

AG, I didn't know Mr Toad before. But you are right, Toad is the spitting image of Alex (or vice versa).

And yes, the two pups definitely help ...

Just recently read an article that claimed one of the most eligible bachelors is Prince Joseph Wenzel of Liechtenstein, Count Rietberg. Wikipedia says he is "the eldest child of Prince Alois of Liechtenstein, the Regent and Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, and his wife Princess Sophie of Bavaria, Duchess in Bavaria, he is also the eldest grandchild of the current ruling prince of Liechtenstein". He's 22.

His father and paternal grandfather are both vile people, so his future wife would have to have a high tolerance for jerks.

He looks like he has a high sense of "entitlement" indeed - no surprise given his background. His father and grandfather fit the mould too. His grandmother - may not be of the same mindset, but suspect his mother is. He will be introduced - if not already - to someone who is suitable and from the Euro trash titled group. Not sure who is of the right age group for him - Carl Christian's younger daughter would have been suitable but she has a child with another cousin

I think he's around 20 years old?

You're so right-I'm sure CC's views are perfectly in line with Alois' and Hans-Adam's views.  That would have been a match made in fundy Catholic-extremist heaven.  Tongue

And I agree with you.  This kid's got that smarmy look on his face just like his father and grandfather have.    I used to think the Liech family were likable until they passed those totalitarian laws.  The shadiness that happened in that country during the time there was a referendum on whether or not to keep the royal family was just beyond horrible.  One dissenter had his cat violently killed and thrown on his doorstep.  The princes didn't do it, but obviously someone affiliated with them did.  So much creepiness.

I'm fairly certain I've seen it reported somewhere he has a girlfriend from New Jersey.

He gives me that Mean boy vibe....You know, the one that breaks a window at school out of maliciousness and not only blames another boy, but sits crying in the headmasters office, and with the support of his powerful family has the other boy expelled.

Ha - well his family run the country and own the school where some other kid is being blamed in the 'story' but yes - it is all about "who" you are or where you come from. My tourist $$$$ are not going there . . . . not even driving through there

Well considering that most autobahns and highways going east to west (Austria-Swiss) either go north or south of Liechtenstein and the ones going north to south are either on swiss or austrian side, you are very safe from accidently finding yourself on Li territory. They don't like thru traffic...
