Just a note. None of these were mentioned in the Court Circular making them unofficial not official events.

She probably won't appear in the CC until after her wedding in keeping with the past experiences of fiancees. They may accompany the royal to events but they aren't recorded as attending officially as has been the case with Meghan.

Is this a riddle like the tree falling in the woods?  If it's not in the CC, it never happened?   Tongue

I'm glad that Meghan is hitting the ground running in terms of undertaking engagements. She's not even married yet and has accompanied Harry to eighteen of his engagements so far, with a month to go still until the wedding. That's pretty impressive and shows a good work ethic for the future I think.

I agree, and with the exception of some questionable clothing choices and hair-fiddling, I think she's doing a good job of it.

Yeah, it's so hard to show up and accompany Harry to these events.  What hard work they do!  So impressive.

That is, however, their job: turn up, shake hands, make small talk with people and wear, hopefully, appropriate clothing.

I wonder how long it will take for Meghan to realise that this is all it is - and this is it for the rest of her life.

Some can do that e.g. Sophie and Birgitte while others struggle e.g. Sarah.

Which will Meghan be???

Yes I know this; and it calls into question the need for this institution to continue at the behest of the taxpayer.

Had she have worn the jacket and left it on she would have been appropriately dressed - but at official Commonwealth event the top of that dress is too casual. And she needs a few neater hairstyles . . . . perhaps she needs to get some pointers from Sophie who is almost always well presented for her events
