Love Claire's belt.
Just not on her - one should wear such a belt only if one has an actual waist to accentuate (e.g., if one has an hourglass figure). She hasn't, she's rather straight, so the belt only emphasizes the fact that she's straight ... and that, in turn, gives an impression of her being "captured" by the belt.
Mrs. Macron will, imho, enter Princess Birgitta of Sweden territory very soon. Same unfortunate combo of too blonde hair, bronzed skin, too dark smokey eyes, big head on stick thin body. She might think she has great legs because she still has skinny legs, that's why she's often wearing these mini skirts, but imho her legs are like broomsticks and the mini skirts emphasize this only. Classic case of dressing age-inappropriately AND figure-inappropriately. She's really skinny for her age, but there are better ways to play that card.
MT, in turn, mostly dresses her age and her figure. That green chiffon dress was an exception. And not even because of the dress, which was generally fine, but maybe because of the spanx or whatever undies she wore.
The belt is nice, but nothing for an official evening function. Stefanie looks good.
