I think that Kate always wanted 3, because that's how many kids were in her family.  If they do have a fourth, I predict a larger gap in age between the youngest siblings, don't because I think it would be an unplanned pregnancy. 

I think they are done. Kate is 36 now, which is not old by any means, but I suspect that another pregnancy with likely HG is not in the cards at this point, especially with increasing responsibilities and duties as a royal and 3 healthy kids.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a 4th. She’s young & healthy aside from that interesting case of Hyperemesis Cambridgium.

Also interesting to note, this is I believe the first time in BRF history (someone correct me if I am wrong) that a princess will not lose her place in the line of succession to a baby brother.

Awww that’s lovely news. Congratulations to them! Glad baby and momma are doing well. He’s a big boy. Can’t wait to see the first pics. I wonder if they will go home today or tomorrow?

I think you're correct. With the recent changes to the succession rules, Charlotte won't get bumped down a notch.

My congratulations to the family!  I'm thrilled for another boy!  Charlotte is going to be one well looked after middle sister - being flanked by an older and younger brother. 

I am still standing by the name Arthur Philip David as well.

I don’t think they will, especially if they wait for a 2-3 year gap.... Kate will be getting close to 40 by then. I think they will settle for 3

Kate certainly is no Waity Katie when it comes to delivering babies! Her deliveries seem to be fast and easy and I'm happy for her if they are. Looking forward to seeing the boy - I hope William keeps his foot out of his mouth when it comes to commenting.

Edit: Well "close to 40" is not that old! Ageing depends on the person so I don't see why they couldn't. I don't know if they'll have a fourth one, they did surprise me with this one as well!

Regardless of how I feel about W&K; I am happy that baby boy is here safely.

Interesting fact both George and Baby were born exactly 33 weeks after Kate's respective pregnancies were announced.

It would seem they announce her pregnancies quite early, probably because she's genuinely very poorly early on.

And these days, there’s not that real need to be “sure”..... back in the day, you had to miss 3 cycles before even seeing a doctor, and the tests weren’t accurate before that point (never mind what is was like in medieval times!).

It does appear she is quite ill at the beginning, but seems to recover fairly quickly too.....
