The only time Marie ever looks stressed is when she can't avoid Madame.

I don't blame Marie. I'd be uncomfortable too. You just know that Madame makes everything miserable and tense. I think Marie is the one who looks smug with her nose in the air. Marie looks like she is girding her loins in preparation for an ordeal.

In those photos hovering over Marge's shoulder she looks like a vulture, just biding its time.

There is something about Xtian that reminds me of his paternal great grandfather Not in looks but in presence I really can’t put my finger on it, but it’s there

I don’t think Marie looks smug at all - or “with her nose in the air”. I think she’s freezing, it’s terrible cold here in Denmark and just getting out from a nice warm car is cooooold These pictures are taken very snap after each other, so I don’t think she puts her nose in the air, I just think she’s doing some “oh I’m freezing”-head shake

Everybody is bowing to them. I would never bow to anybody, let alone to a bunch of rich spoilt people. I may bow to someone who has done their duty for years, as a mark of respect... Never to a child, because they are our future, it’s us adults that guide them.

I wouldn't mind the bowing to the group including the children if I thought their parents were counteracting that with lessons in humility. I don't think Fred and certainly Mary are capable of that. Marge looks great she seems to have new life to her. I would totally understand if Marie were tensing up to deal with a day with Mary I would be tense too if I had to see that wicked woman and her undisciplined kids on a regular basis.

You know, would it kill Fred to have his tie straight in photographs just once? Lately this seems to be a real problem + those horrible too small coats.

Daisy really look wonderful. I think Henrik's illness must have been weighing heavily on her for years before they made it public.

Hi Sondra Finchley. Maybe he doesn't care, has never cared, will never care . Remember Joachim telling him " You'll have everything, FG'sS!" Too much for him. Responsibility, sense of duty, meeting people you don't know or like. And you can't even wear a beautiful tiara!! What the heck -- he'd rather go hunting...whatever!!

I think this is what danes find endearing about him. That he's down to earth, just one of the lads. Like fruela says, he just doesn't care.

I really wish CP Fred was "one of the lads." He invokes his title whenever the goodies are good and coming. Not like he says "Oh no. I don't need that sports car. I think I donate it to a good Danish cause."

Fred (and all royals) get lots of down time to be themselves and dress however they want. But every once in a while a neat appearance is required. If it’s too much to manage on their own they have plenty of help (butlers, dressers, personal umbrella holders). You can be down to earth and reasonably kempt all at the same time.

Probably not, SF, but it seems to be the only part of his attire in sync with his off-kilterness It's his suit which is in denial.or perhaps in a rare moment of insight, he has cut his coat to suit his cloth, hence horrible and too small.
