His suit fits him excellently, the colour is nice and a bit quirky as it’s not the classic navy colour and he looks like he’s in great spirits.
Joachim could try to take some tips from his brother with regards to the right fit of a suit.
The ladies all look from average (Benedikte and Margrethe) to horrible (Marie and Mary).
Benedikte and Margrethe are their typical selves. Green does quite suit Marie and her frame is ‘drowning’ in that dress, but her earrings are gorgeous! And Mary...well, I’d like to know from which costume shop she bought this truly hideous and dated dress?

bolded   Sorry...that made me laugh...the jacket is too small in the waist, the shirt is shifting under his jacket, and the sleeves of both jacket/shirt are way too long. Sleeves should not end at at your knuckles, they cover your wrist. The shoulders are badly cut, too far out. This dinner jacket is a mess. In general he wears suits so tight, especially jackets, that he looks like a stuffed sausage.  |

At least tonight Bene was here to save the desperate sartorial situation   yes-she's got he best look in the group this time imo Bene looks great - as for the rest of them  Mary's dress is awful in design - bad 1980's for sure - Marie's is not as bad but not good either, and Marg - what was she thinking ? It looks like the anti static spray missed the hemline area at the front as it seems the fabric is clinging. And that jacket ?  Did they all raid an old trunk in the attic ? |

Trust Benedikte to save the evening -- simple and elegant, nothing overdone. I admit I have soft spot for her, she always looks so regal and poised. Her sister wouldn't have been bad if she had skipped that metallic jacket and those whitish tights. Mary...what was she thinking when she choose that dress?? Has she decided to copy Victoria and now wears those older ladies dresses? This dress looks like something bought from the drift shop, its style gives immpression of saggy breasts and wide hips. Not flattering at all. Add that ugly shade of blue and weird pattern and you get a disaster. Compared to her Marie looks more elegant in her dark green gown.

Bennie and Daisy are dressed in line with their personalities. Mary's got too much going on. Marie's dress is fine but too much green. Joachim sometimes dresses a bit too old for his age but he's still dapper. Fred's outfit is fantastic - for Nikolai. I'm afraid that Fred has taken after his father in body type. He really isn't in good shape

In general he wears suits so tight, especially jackets, that he looks like a stuffed sausage. Ok, maybe the length of the shirt in the arms is wrong, but I disagree that the suit is too tight. He's not sitting straight, so I think it's only logical that the suit will seem tighter than it is. In any case, he looks better IMHO than Joachim, who is drowning in a suit too big for him. |

October 19Daisy is hosting a gala in connection with the great P4G summit in Copenhagen. Crown Prince couple also participates.The upscale gala dinner takes place at Christiansborg Castle on Friday, October 19, 2018. Billed-Bladet will go live from 19:40, when the guests and eventually the royal arrive at the Drabants Hall at the castle.
In addition to Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attend as representatives of the Danish Royal house.
