Sweden is having a great summer so far with some really hot temperatures. Other Half was just home two weeks ago and was complaining about the glare
But yeah, there is something very spectacular and calming about Swedish summer that is just like sitting on an island and time moves at a different pace. Our dream is to one day have a home there for 4 or 5 months out of the year (early fall is really lovely too).
I was always of the understanding that the National Day celebration was a rather new thing for Sweden and hence why it is a bit more low key than the other Scandi nations. Also that men's traditional outfits just aren't worn at all regardless of who you are as there is no tradition similar to the Norwegians getting their full costume at a certain age.
Can someone ID that handbag of Viks? Its adorable!
