I think she, and the BRF, are still figuring it out. This is Delphine attending an art event in her role of Delphine-the-slightly-more-famous-than-before-artist, it's not an official royal event. She has the odd royal duty and attends joint events with the family, like National Day and family memorial services. I think over time she will calm down a little and they will all know how to work with each other better

Is she seeking attention?
Is this a revenge towards the royal family for being left out and ignored for years?

Shouldn't she behave/carry herself within some limits?
Am I too conservative? Most probably I am and I feel a bit awkward for some of her appearances as a member of a royal family. I mean really her clothes has nothing to do with her contribution but I also think she wants it all - the title and her previous image, the recognition and doing what she wants, how she wants it.

I'm a 'conservative' person myself but I don't think this is attention-seeking or vengeful behavior.  (For attention-seeking 101, I look to Maxima, and Mary at times!) 

This Delphine ^ at the exhibit, that's the real Delphine.  The persona she put on for the military parade a few weeks ago - that wasn't her, but she didn't look uncomfortable doing it.  I think she knows that for royal events, she has to dress & act a certain way - but she's not gonna carry that over into her personal life.  And good for her!

Yes, she has to let the real Delphine out sometimes.  The outfit looked appropriate for an art exhibit.

  I agree. Delphine has the life and career that she's enjoyed for decades prior to being recognized as a member of the Belgian Royal Family.

Per Wikipedia:  "In October 2020, she and her children were granted princely titles by the Belgian court of appeals. As she was born out of wedlock, Princess Delphine and her descendants are not in the line of succession."

They are Prince Oscar and Princess Josephine (also per Wikipedia)

Personally, I think the status of Delphine and her children is somewhat strange. Officially, she is the illegitimate daughter of a (former) head of state. Maybe she would still get a noble title, but why Prince and Princess?

Kind of like the 2 eldest children of Albert of Monaco. Recognized by their father, but no title or right to the throne.

Thanks for the answers!  I agree; it's a weird handling of the titles situation.  Presumably the titles won't continue to be passed down.

Delphine, her kids, and her partner attended the wedding of Princess Maria Laura got married to William Isvy in Brussels.

You know, I'm sorry - I can't really get behind Delphine. All those years of declaring she didn't want the spotlight, but only wanting that pig of a sperm donor to acknowledge her. Okay, good, I can buy that.

But now she seems to be popping up everywhere. Obv Phillippe has to be tolerant of it, but it does seem a bit... tacky?

I used to really root for her but yes, she's lost the script. Or maybe I was naive. She's certainly all about the titles and putting on a big show now, not who I thought she was. Maybe as was said upthread she will settle down.
