I think I actually might like Mosh's dress.  I need to see it up close though.  The print is either lovely or horrid, and it's difficult to see in the video.

I love Marie and she looked lovely, but I confess I am a bit tired to see her in this beige/lace dresses.

Mary looked really good. Her dress looked beatiful and she toned down in the jewels department.

ok for real Mary looks fantastic. I love the dress and the tiara is properly placed and even the hair is good. Marie looks great and has a wonderful figure but the dress is not the greatest and looks a little cheap.

I think Maries dress is a repeat, I'm pretty sure that I have seen it before.

The guestlist has been published. No Benedikte neither Nikolai.

http://kongehuset.dk/nyhe...taarstaffel-1-januar-2019

Is Nikolai a knight of the elephant order?

I'm surprised Benny isn't there.  I hope she is well.

Not yet AFAIK...there really doesn't seem to be a set age

Fred and Joachim received their's on 14 January 1972 when their mother became Queen...they were 3 and 2 respectively.

Margrethe, Benedikte, and Anna Marie received their's on 20 April 1947 when their father became King...they were 7, almost 3, and almost 8 months respectively.

The children of Hereditary Prince Knud...Elisabeth in January 1962 when she was 26...Ingorf & Christian on their 21st Birthdays.

Frederick IX and Knud received their's on 14 May 1912 when their father became Kind...they were 13 and 11 respectively.

I'm guessing that all of Margrethe's grandchildren will received theirs on their 21st Birthdays...but who knows.

No, Anne-Marie (not Anna Marie) received hers as an eighteen year old. Same for her son, Pavlos.  Wiki is wrong.

Good to know.  And my bad with the typo...seems to be a problem for me the last day or so.

Large Marge is still in charge! She looks great in pink and that tiara is great. The gray stole is a nice queenly touch. It looks like she has quite a corset sewn into her dress maybe it helps her posture. She seems to struggle with walking but is not letting these things bother her. You go girl.

The commentators on tv were speculating about that.

No worries. Wikipedia is not trustworthy.  I suspect that Benedikte also received hers as an 18 year old. I also think that Margrethe got hers once it emerged that she was the heir (which was not at her birth).  I doubt Christian has received it, and probably will not until either Fred becomes king or he reaches age 18, whichever is first. 18 seems to be a trend in this family with regard to that order. Victoria of Sweden also received hers as an 18 year old.
