Apart from the shoes, this was in my eyes one of best looks yesterday.
Dress is simple, but a wow color, hat is a wonderful piece in comparison to all the fluffy fascinators torn apart by the wind, and clutch and earrings are well accessorized.
Really wonder why she chose these meh shoes to go with the rest.

She has a radiant smile and a lovely figure. One of the best dressed guests definitely.
Maybe she thinks "I'm next !"

Eugenie and Jack's wedding

This dress is beautiful. The color is lovely, the fit is is lovely.  It's a great look.  I don't care for the shoes, but otherwise, this is gorgeous.

can't call her one of the best dressed with those awful colored shoes which don't go with her outfit.  the rest of her is very nice.

I agree.  There's nothing matching the hat, either.  I suppose it's possible the hat has some sort of decoration on it that ties it in with the colour of the dress and the shoes, but from what I can see it does not.  A necklace or brooch could have achieved the same result, but there is no such unifying detail.  The earrings seem to have amethyst coloured bits with the turquoise.  If the shoes matched the hat, Ella would have looked great IMO, but they don't.

I hope she wears Marina's tiara (wedding gift in 1934).  Or the tiara Lady Helen wore at her own wedding.  Mmmm!

YES. I was going to say--I bet she went with the beige shoes b/c she has big colorful earrings but man if the shoes matched the hat it would have been a really great look.

She looks fabulous. Love the simplicity of her outfit, no fussy hat or jewelry. I think the shoes elongate the legs. Refreshing! Jumping

So, can I just say how much I am enjoying the BRF royal wedding parade of jewels not seen in a century? Roll on Gabriella!
