Ah the puffball skirt. Even someone as tall and slim as Diana couldn’t carry it off.  What chance did the rest of us have?

Good Lord. I'd never really seen a close up of the entire dress. I'd always been focused upon the hideous bodice, but honestly the quilted skirt is just awful too. It's a also this rather bland oatmeal color too. Why on Earth did she select this one? Crap

My thoughts exactly!  She looks engulfed by that coat, too.

This is one hot mess for so many reasons but she seems to have unusual style tastes anyways.

Sorry Kate, but no.

Kate has a tendency to dress too old for her age.

Thinking about how some of the worst clothing of all time was seen on the young Sarah Ferguson in the first years of her marriage, I wonder if she had somebody advising her who simply hated her. I remember seeing one outfit and wanting to put my head down on my desk and unsee it. And then I think of Camilla, who comes from a somewhat similar background in terms of culture, but who seldom gets it wrong. I don't know who is advising Camilla, but Sarah needs somebody like that. And it feels like the phrase ``mutton dressed as lamb'' was written about Sarah later in life. As we Norskies say, uff da!
