The Greeks will never drop their titles. Just look at all the Habsburgs or the French "royals" who are still hanging on to their non-existent titles even though the monarchy was abolished many generations ago. Anything to stay relevant. I'm willing to bet that MC and Pavlos' great great grandkids will still be calling themselves Greek royals.

Isn't it time the Greeks dropped the titles . . . ex King and Queen OK - but the next generations are having themselves on big time. They would have all faded away if they didn't take MC's dowry to fund themselves
Slightly OT here but I have a feeling MC will push for Pavlos to do like Margareta of Romania : being called Majesty once his father passes away.
Hahaha! Being called Majesty by whom? Greeks? Other royals? Us dishers? But I wouldn't put it past them...

I meant, on their official website and Instagram posts for example I don't think that will ever happen. Of course, there are insta accounts of people with strong feelings supporting monarchy but there are not many, so only then may call him majesty but it's ridiculous.

Doesn't make it true or official or even legal. But there will be people who go along with it, for the kudos, and so it will come off as "legitimate" merely because it has some social acquiescence.

For some reason, I thought the boyfriend (now fiance) was named Tony. Either way, good for Theo. She seems happy and fairly normal. I wonder if they'll marry in Greece? K and AM don't live in London anymore. Although, if they marry in Greece, they don't get to play as royal as they tried to play for Alexia and Pavlos' weddings.

For the life of me I would not have released the first pic. VERY unfortunate nipplegate there on her left side ... and the dart on the same side looks as if she has a second nipple there.
Sorry for pointing that out, I know it's a "once seen never to be unseen" case.
Apart from that, happy news. And the general setting of the pictures, black/white in front of illuminated London bridge, is a very nice idea.
It was the first thing my eye was drawn to when I looked at the photo, too. I wouldn't have chosen either one to be included with my announcement tbh. But yay for young love

Lots of out of work actors to line any parade route......

On the other hand, MC's sister has a private jet so they could fly those actors to another location.

Wow, I totally missed this one!! Congratulations to the happy couple. And thanks you all for pointing me towards that pointing nipple, it surely can't be unseen anymore.

I am still new to learning about the Greek Royal family, but are they required to marry in the Greek orthodox tradition, or is there a little more freedom to choose?

I believe Greek Orthodox is required or at least they are required to be Greek Orthodox. Princess Alexia lost right for herself and her children when she converted to Catholicism after marring her husband. Alexia & Carlos (1999) and Pavlos & MC (1995) all married at St Sophia in London. Nicolaos and Tatiana married in Greece at an Orthodox church. There is a Greek Orthodox cathedral in Los Angeles is they married there...and I'm sure there are smaller churches in the LA area.

Does the Greek Orthodox Church have requirements for parties getting married - ie do both have to be practicing members - or just one of them ? Many religions impose restrictions of who they marry - although these can be "relaxed" for people with "connections . . .

I haven't heard about Alexia's conversion before. I can't find anything about it.
