Now they can be the ďroyal-lebritiesĒ that theyíve always wanted to be. Angel

I foresee a move to Canada within the year where they can live amongst the warmth of the Canadian people, aka The Family They Never Had, and where they can enjoy glowing, daily press coverage from North American media outlets/royal sycophants and receive The News Media Coverage They Never Had. Now theyíll be able to earn an independent income merch off of their Sussex Royal brand so they canít be criticized for spending $hitlo@ads of UK taxpayerís money on funding Meghantoinetteís lavish wardrobe, because, you know. Style icon.

Suck that you BMBM (Big Mean British Media)!!!

However, if HMQ strips them of their titles, it will be interesting to see if their appeal continues amongst their bigwoke Hollyweird friends. Roll Eyes

Oh my. It will be interesting to watch this unfold over the coming weeks.

Also interesting is the company who created the Sussex Royal website, Article, is based out of Toronto, according to their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/madebyarticle/ . I wonder how they got the job of creating the site.

You know she's probably steaming since she hasn't had a tiara event since her wedding. Now how are they going to pay for her Dior, Chanel, Stella, and Oscar? But if they aren't working royals, I guess they can take loans or gifts.

IDK, one chooses one's friends but not one's family. I sense a sort of tendency  to alienate oneself from relatives. Some people value friendship over family ties.  shrug

Some families are toxic and you have to make your friends your family.

It's a shame they didn't seek the counsel of the Wessexes.

Well if she is not making official appearances how many occasions will she have to wear those clothes ?

Iím a bit confused about how itís all going to work? Their announcement was a decent length but it really didnít explain everything.
To me it seems they want to have one foot in one world and another foot in the other. Which wonít work, in my opinion. If they wish to live a private life then fine, but they donít get any money from taxpayers or the duchy and no titles.
Also, itís a bit sad that Harry didnít inform the Queen fully of his and Meghanís plans.

What words would you have used? Iím not a fan of Royalty but it is a bit sad that he didnít inform the Queen.

I think that's the only thing that's really sad about this situation. He always seemed close to his grandmother. It seems very odd he didn't approach her and say "Granny, this isn't working for me. I would like to live life as a private citizen rather than a royal."

But I think the problem here is they do not want to live as private citizens. Wealthy citizens whose every need is paid for by the taxpayer, with their titles, but no responsibilities.
