I bet CG wishes he had a respectable daughter in law too.

Nope, I don't think so.....
He himself could enjoy skanks besides his marriage with a relative suitable bride, while his son was able to marry a skank.

CG is an old school misogynist.

Those types may like to roll in bed with the spanks but they don't want those same spanks in their family trees.

I bet every night he wonders where he went wrong with his pride and joy.

I post the news here because, even though it is about CP's 40th birthday party, it is linked to the whole RF.
Today there is the party at the castle to celebrate CP. As it was already said the party is private as CP wanted, but guests have been seen arriving. The party was for the family and friends and it was a costume party.

On May 13, the prince turned 40 years, which he, according Margareta Thorgren, celebrated privately.
Svensk Damtidning wrote that the family ate an intimate dinner at Villa Solbacken.
Tonight, Carl Philip celebrates the big birthday with a masquerade, which Svensk Damtidning was the first to report on.
- Carl Philip celebrates his 40th birthday tonight at the Royal Palace. It is a private party, which you know when it is a private party, it is nothing more that we comment on from the court's side- says Margareta Thorgren.
- It's a big party, you have to say that. It is for the prince's friends, family, acquaintances and those in the royal family who are at home. That means the king, the queen and the Crown Princess couple. Princess Madeleine has not yet come home, unfortunately, and therefore Princess Madeleine and Chris cannot be involved. They think it is very sad of course-.
Crown Princess Victoria was on Wednesday in Medelpad on a province hike. And to get home to the party, the Crown Princess took a helicopter back to Stockholm.
- The Crown Princess has had huge problems in solving logistics problems from Medelpad. Hence, it has been a concern that must be resolved in this way. Since the Crown Princess is a big sister, it has been important for Prince Carl Philip that the Crown Princess is there, especially after little sister Madeleine didn't have the possibility due to the distance.-
The party started at 20 o'clock on Wednesday and during the party there is a dinner. The court doesn't want to publish the menu - nor give any other information.

Didn't they have a theme?  Crap

I suppose no  Crap I think that the costume party may be nice to celebrate something (the RF have done other before)...but If I organized a costume party the first thing I would do is chosing a theme.  Huh?

Thanks for this pic  Star

Oh dear. I don't know whether to laugh or cry    Dead

If Sofia's family looked like this, then I can only imagine how Sofia looked  Blink

It looks like they didn't have a certain theme and thus ended up looking like a weird, eclectic bunch of people...vikings, Elvis, parametics, policemen, Zorro, etc, etc.

I think costume party's are more fun, if there's no certain theme. Of course that requires that everyone knows what is suitable for him and what not.

Is that Tatiana with him? And Bea? Tatiana's wayward fashion sense never ceases to amaze me. I mean, who wears a striped sweater with a flowery dress? She is so rich, I guess she doesn't give a damn! Good for her Smiley

The theme was  "Your alter ego as a child".

I'd love to see what the royals were wearing!
