Two pals hanging out together...

...Victoria, nooooOOOOO, how could you  Cry

SvD wrote last week that Silvia is choosing Sof instead of Madeleine, then sadly now they can easily write the same about Victoria ...    Snare

What I find even more shocking is that all emotions are from Vic to Sofia (who actually seems to be very uncomfortable with all the hugging and the trip as a whole) and never vise versa.

Victoria and Dan seem to be getting on very well with her but they both seem cold towards Chris. Says a lot about their character that they prefer such a vile person.

Sadly I've to agree.

Sofia looks so angry that she's not the  center of attention and ignoring any embrace or attention from Victoria, who is too nice.

It's very kind of Victoria to invite Sofia but Sofia looks out of place and like she would rather be anywhere else than around Victoria. The body language is so strange.

Definitely. I'm not seeing quite the usual joie de vivre lighting up Victoria's eyes when she smiles, either.
No doubt there was some purpose behind this joint expedition.    Snare

Iím sure Sof went along because she is from Dalarna and it is also Gabeís duchy.

I too think Vic accepts Sofia. However, I think itís more in the way of resigned acceptance. It is what it is and Vic isnít one to rock the boat. She knows that Madeleine isnít in Sweden enough to remain in constant battle position.

Perhaps if Madeleine moves back in order to keep Leo in line, we would see more loyalty towards her sister.

I hope the dress looked better in person. Even for Victoria, that's one ugly dress.

Was it one that she wore in Vietnam?

Does Victoria ever wear her hair down? It seems like every engagement itís always up in a bun.

I do find Victoria to be one of the warmest and most genuine people however, she does have a tendency of looking eccentrically overexcited and loony and due to her otherwise good demeanor, people overlook her over the top expressions and actions as a way of looking 'engaged' instead of inappropriate. When a certain duchess used to do the same, she used to be vilified and considered not princessey enough due to her loud expressions. Even most royals do not jump up and down like that to show their interest. When you measure everyone by having Victoria as the standard, it's no wonder many others would fail. I don't see how  Victoria looks and acts like a born princess in this picture whose elegance Sofia cannot even dream to achieve.

Victoria is genuine, unlike others who have loopy, rictus grins and posing for the cameras. Victoria is warm and even when she's silly in front of the cameras you feel it is real, it isn't her posing or doing it for any sort of reason.

Could be. I don't remember, but it looks very familiar too me.
