Honestly I'd take a blue jacket and black trousers over those stupid flowery dresses any day. The blue does suit Vic though.

I really do think that she's having some sort of midlife crisis regarding clothing. Up until her late thirties she wore sleek, professional outfit, with flowers and frills kept to a summer and a minimum. Since then she's dressed far too old for her age, and I'm wondering if she has some sort of crisis about how she should dress now she's in her forties (she should dress no differently in my view). I don't think you can foot the blame entirely at her stylist's door, after all Vic can choose what she wears, just her judgement in the last few years have been atrocious!
The only outfits I recall genuinely liking over the last few years are the red dress she wore at the Nobels in 2014, the red dress she wore last year for the Kings nobel dinner, the outfit she wore at Gabriel's christening and the white dress she wore in either Lebanon or Jordan.

I hate that pant/boot combo!  The cut of the pants make Vic's legs look short and stubby and she doesn't have short/stubby legs.

I prefer a wider pant leg with a bit more length to cover the top of the boot.

I wish Madeleine would offer her styling services to Vic.  I would love, love, love to see Vic in Madeleine's style.

accessories are on point here  shoes, bag, earrings, even the broach, I want them all! I agree that the jacket and pant combo is not her best look but still infinitely better than those granny dresses she has been wearing

So it's not utterly horrible, but simply very ugly. Great achievement, really.

Honestly Vic, if you want to look like wearing a trash bag, just do it. Wouldn't look so different and would be much cheaper as well.

Yesterday, Victoria visited Amfibieregementet AMF1 (The 1st Marine Regiment) and met, among other things, staff from the basic training base and from the Victoria Battalion.

Victoria attended a meeting of the Trilateral Commission, held at Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. She was welcomed by Jean-Claude Trichet, the European Chairman of the Trilateral Commission, and Jacob Wallenberg, a member of the Commission.
