Whilst I can’t comment to the actual day, this week the daytime temperature is around 3-4C (37-39F)..... which is pretty chilly!!

Today, Victoria is doing her seventeenth walk through Sweden's provinces, this time in Norrbotten.

11.00 - The Crown Princess starts the province walk on the river below Filipsborg in company of Kalix ski club and the public. On the ski trail, the Crown Princess will listen to stories about Nordanskär.
12.00 - When the Crown Princess arrives to Vinterland in Strandängarna, there will be many activities, for example:
The children's Vasalopp
Estetprogrammet will make ice and snow sculptures
The associations Kalix hockey and Kalix bandy show off their activities on an ice rink.
13.00 -  The province walk continues on the Kalix river to Vassholmen.
14.00 - After a long ski trip, lunch is served at Vassholmen.
The Crown Princess is served food with flavors from Norrbotten.
The Crown Princess gets information about Vassholmen
15.00 - The Crown Princess's province walk ends.

I especially like this series of hikes/walks through the Provinces of Sweden. Wonderful way to meet people, learn more about the regions, and show off the beauty of the country. Whilst Norrbotten is snow covered, the pictures from Ångermanland of her hike last fall were absolutely beautiful.
