Today on World Water Day, Victoria visited Stockholm Vatten och Avfall's wastewater treatment plant in Henriksdal in Nacka.





















After the visit, Victoria, Stockholm City's Vice Mayor of Environment and Climate, Katarina Luhr, and WaterAid's Secretary General, Cecilia Chatterjee-Martinsen, carried water in the Haga park to highlight why access to clean water is so important for women's rights.

Victoria walks in Härjedalen today

Programme:
11.15-11.45 Visit to Vemdalen's school
12.00-13.00 Lunch at the Hembygdsgård in Vemdalen
13.30-15.15 The hike starts. The ski trip departs from the railway station, just before the entrance to Vemdalsskalet Karin's road.
15.15-16.15 Jaktstugan hunting lodge - the public is offered waffles and hot chocolate. Try-on activities.
16.15-16.30 The hike continues back to Vemdalsskalet.

Hiking is a wonderful way to meet people, learn something about nature and the surroundings. Quite often hiking trips lead to some most interesting cultural buildings.

I wish more royals would do this.

Indeed. That's exactly why I've absolutely no problem with her being not the most fashionable princess or dressing like a granny sometimes.
