And: I miss Marie and Joachim - they brought professionalism and warmth to the event...

It's probably just me, but did anyone else notice Mary's hesitation/awkwardness just before she walked up to Benedikte after getting out of the car? For a moment I saw Mary lose her smug confidence and look a bit nervy before greeting Benedikte. Perhaps just me noticing it, but it provided me with the faith that not everyone is under Mares' spell.
Champagne absolutely agree! And the awkwardness continued inside: once again Mosh didn't know which seat was meant for her. You can see in the video that she has to step over in order to stand in front of the right seat.
Furthermore, IMHO it's understandable that Mosh feels insecure around Bene (she has figured her out from the start); and their "interaction" inside is just plain small talk (Bene is professional enough to keep smiling while the Bogan is talking to you her): Mosh is saying something to Bene about the rail obstructing the view... well, no friendship here  Grin

Bene is not the only one seeing through Yrma. Joachim did too and it's clear she isn't Marge's favourite daughter-in-law either.

Last year I visited Berleburg, homestead of Benedikte (and her deceased husband Richard). When taking part into a guided tour through the open parts of the building we off course encountered several items, stories and such about Benedikte. If I understood the tour guide correct Benedikte is a upper class lady. In other words Richard could enjoy his dogs, hunting, foresting and such, while Benedikte was (and is) more regal. You could also see this distinction between the two in the portraits of them hanging in Berleburg.

I guess Mary has been "weighed" by Benedikte, according to her standards, and is considered to be way too light. I haven't seen much interaction between Benedikte and Marie, but I guess that is a bit better.

Richard called her posh and snobby in an interview once Beer I have zero doubt she is.
