What I am surprised about: Do they realize that their job is to promote Denmark, not Switzerland? That whole thing is giving the message "Denmark is boring, Switzerland is where the fun is". Problems:
(1) They don't even make an attempt to explain what they are doing there. Is sking the focus? Being out of the country? Improving French? Meeting people? Getting away from it all?
(2) Where is the benefit for the children? - it is equally strange like MM and Hakoon taking their kids out of school to go travelling the world with them - during the school year.
(3) Having fun in Switzerland kind of gives off the message "we had more fun here than in Denmark" If you look at EII for example: it is Windsor, Sandringham and Balmoral. She stays in her country and promotes it.
(4) Christian at the age of 14 should be prepared academically. Academically that school is not doing good at all. Plus: all four kids wore jackets with the name of the school. Basically they were doing a free advert ... Why? And isn't that problematic?
(5) Daisy will be 80 soon. It seems unfair leaving her and her sister (similar advanced in age) with all the workload behind.
(6) Owning that chalet they are not supposed to own. Coming up with silly excuses.
Does booking your kids into a Swiss school for a few weeks qualify you for Swiss tax haven grifting?

Or the woman did ask for a picture or autograph, got rebuked and is seeking attention. I won't condemn Mary on this yet...

The woman didn't ask for a picture or autograph, only Mary's camp thought it must be the case. How arrogant! That's not a surprise. Freddles and Moshy have been protected very well by the Danish press, but here we know who they are.

A standard response? - so I would guess the fault lies with a staff person who does not read the lady's card properly (I do not know what the lady's card said). How is this the fault of Mary's 'big head'?

What is the most surprising here IMO is not the wrong reply card. It's the fact that DM publishes an article unusually not depicting Mosh as the perfect princess DM always speak highly of her. Tides turning ?

Can you imagine if the reply was from Megan's camp ? DM had so much negative energy against Megan. Now she is gone, DM just needs somewhere to release some of their negative energy. Moshy's camp has always been very arrogant. She had done things Megan had been criticized for. She got away only because the Danish press was very protective and tolerated.

Harry and Meghan are O/T. Even more so, if possible, in a thread about Fred and Mary

In other words, Mary doesn't want to deal with peasants. They might have germs!

Mosh has always been a snob and full of herself. Sad fact is that she now thinks she is different and above all because she got married to a prince. In reality, she is just the one-night-stand that wouldn't go away and chased a prince around the globe...

So. Funny. Mary has principle. How does Haberdash factor into that singular principle?

Maria, sorry for bringing up a certain duchess. Mosh early years' overspending, fame whoring, denying Danish photographers (but allowing OZ photographers) taking pictures of the CP family in OZ, favoring OZ over Denmark and others, wouldn't have easily gotten away in the UK media.

Fred had the means to escape Mary. He just did not have the will or the desire to pre-marriage (for whatever reason). He wanted what she had to give. Whether he needed that or did not get what he thought he would is another matter.
