Maybe I am the only person here who thinks so, but I quite like what Isabella is wearing here. It’s casual and trendy at the same time and is totally what a girl her age would wear. Although I suspect the skirt might be Mary’s!
I also find it appropriate for the event.

Same, it's definitely something girls in her age group wear - the mixing casual sweatshirt and shoes with the dressier pieces is very 'in'. I think she also just looks very happy with her father, which is sweet. They look so much alike.

I like at such a young age Isabella is trying to express herself through clothing.

Agree with both posters above. In the US at least, the dresses-and-sneakers look is how young girls dress up. And no matter the weather, they always have bare legs. The puffy coat is the one and only nod to cold temperatures!

Didn't Ingrid Alexandra of Norway combine a dress with sneakers recently? I can understand it is a current trend and such among youngsters/teenagers/adolescents currently, but I have to confess it isn't my taste. I think it is to bulky, to much contrast. Perhaps I am old fashioned Wink Smiley

Well, it's a sporting event in January in Denmark and Izzy is wearing a thin skirt with bare legs.
Also, the red ill-fitting sweat shirt doesn't go with the dressier and polka-dotted skirt that also looks a little large for her.
You can tell the shirt is too large by all the rolls on her sleeves because she had to pull them up her arm. Also it's quite loose at her waist. OK to wear larger sweat shirt, but shouldn't be tucked into a dressy skirt. Worn over slim pants would look neater and sportier for a sporting event.

What irks me most is that Mosh clearly assembled herself very carefully for this event. Stiletto boots. Check. Designer bag. Check. Slim pants to look young and chic. Check. Accent scarf. Check. Hair arranged just so. Check.
Did she take one of Izzy's barrettes to try to look cute?

They are wearing both the same, so either Izzy borrowed from mom, or the otherway around.

You are absolutely right, Principessa! Princess Ingrid-Alexandra wore white sneakers while wearing a lovely midi-length blue and white dress at an event with the King and Queen! I think it's a look that only teen/adolescent girls can pull off. And it's not my taste either, but you pick your battles!

I would wnt to wear what Izzy is wearing - it’s probably very hot in the arena Smiley A little bareleggedness isn’t really a biggi here even in winter. If Izzys going from the car to the arena and not standing outside for hours it’ll be fine.
Maybe we are more used to the cold. I can take the trash out with bare feet even in frost or a few cm of snow and will go to the gym in shorts (and a coat like Izzys) even if I have to clear my  car of snow first. Smiley My 12 year daughter and her two friends waited outside an indoor ice rink for 2 hours in the evening while it snowed, just to attend an ice disco for 1 hour. No complaints. I love the viking-warrior-I-don’t-give-a-damn-ness about Izzy. She’s going to drive Mosh crazy...

I feel that Mosh boots looks more out of place than izzys outfit  Grin

Izzy's skirt could be one of Mary's hand- me-downs judging from the length.

I still think it’s a really cute outfit and very fashionable! The colours are nicely combined and the oversized jumper and trainers make the outfit yourhful and the skirt adds some elegance and femininity! Yes, yes, I know, Isabella is only 12, but it’s very likely that she wants to dress more like a teen girl rather than a child. It’s still a very appropriate outfit for her age!

As for the tights, maybe she’s wearing tights or maybe she just hates them? I don’t wear any even in winter because I can’t stand them.

Fred and Mosh attended the Medal of Honor dinner for Navy officers at Fredensborg Palace on Tuesday evening.

Mosh is wearing the new dress-uniform for women in the military.

I know she’s/they’re not especially popular here, and I understand why, but I feel really bad for them.   I hope they resolve things one way or another.  It can’t be much fun trying to keep up appearances.  It’s painful to watch.

Yes, Principessa, the generation gap just opened right before your feet!

Current fashions for high school girls are not elegant, and not really colourful, and sneakers with everything. I cycle past 2 big high schools every day to Lil'P's primary school, and I find it quite depressing. (Then again, I was rather weird in highschool, wearing trousers made out of shiny pink satin lining fabric, 20 buttons (badges) of my favourite bands, and my mom's sixties' super pointy nose heels. And blue nailpolish. Like an '80s Tavi Gevinson but without the talent.)

Oh did I say I quite like NQM in a navy dress uniform?
She should get it in All The Colours and look good until (and beyond) kingdom come.
Or she could get a side hustle as captain of the Love Boat.
