I am torn on the coat-cape front: I can easily imagine that a cape instead of a coat could be a more comfortable option, since a lot of outfits have more elaborate sleeve- or lapel designs which make a fitted coat uncomfy or appear too bulky. Plus I can see, why a blankie like those the QueenBee loves is way more cozy e.g. in the car to an engagement.
Those capes can also look very nice and elegant. But...there is simply nothning as elegant as a well fitted, well tailored coat...
