I will fight for my children on any level so they can reach their potential as human beings and in their public duties.
What a shame she isn't here; selfish Willie desperately needs help in reaching his potential in both areas...

Quote
People think at the end of the day that a man is the only answer to fulfillment. Actually a job is better for me.
Take that, Waity, you lazy, worthless tw*t.

If Diana were alive and say such a thing nowadays,
People would assume she was trying to send a message to her daughter in law. Maybe she is doing it in somekind of way, in absentiae.

It's so hard to believe that it's sixteen years ago today. Sad

"I felt compelled to perform, to do my engagements and not let people down. And they supported me, although they weren't aware how much it carried me through."

"You can't comfort the afflicted with afflicting the comfortable."

"I like to be a free spirit. Some don't like that, but that's the way I am."

"The people that I care about are the people out there on the street. I can identify with them."

"At the age of 19, you always think you are prepared for everything and you think you have the knowledge of what?s coming ahead."

"No one sat me down with a piece of paper and said, 'This is what is expected of you.' But I'm lucky enough in the fact that I have found my role I love being with people."

"I'd like people to think of me as someone who cares about them."

Yeah, I saw the article on DM and realised it was 16 years now. Where did the time go? I hope she rests in peace.

I don't really believe such a tormented and ambiguous soul at that time  would have supported her children in their early youth the way they needed, since, AFAIR, she was still fighting her demons ...and the BRF. But growing up ,getting older and counselling  should probably have made her act and  see things differently for their sake.

She certainly did have her demons, and I’m sure that the Wales family had some severe issues which continue to this day.  But because it’s hard to fake affection in photos, I’m going to posit that she did give the boys lots of love and attention. I think the truth is somewhere in between.

Did Prince Andrew state this remark at the Royal Wedding in the church? Or did he declare it after the wedding?
