Nice work from the KP instagram maestros for highlighting all of William's patronages that benefited from the polo tournament:

Quote
The Duke of Cambridge took part in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day for the Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Polo Trophy. The charity match helped raise funds and awareness for charities supported by His Royal Highnesses.

1. The English Schools Swimming Association, which encourages school children to learn to swim and compete at several levels - for their school, their district and their country.

2. Fields in Trust, who champion and support our parks and green spaces by protecting them for people to enjoy in perpetuity.

3. The Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund, which helps provide financial support to injured soldiers and their families, including those who have lost their lives on active service.

4. Irish Guards Appeal, which provides welfare support to both serving and former members of the Regiment and their families.

5. Mountain Rescue England and Wales, an entirely voluntary service who work on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

6. The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre specialising in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education.

7. The Passage, providing homeless people with support to transform their own lives.

8. Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, which supports severely injured players from Wales.

Honestly, their social media game is just getting so coherent, professional and interesting.

I honestly wonder what changed with how utterly incompetent their team has been over the years. Catherine Quinn's influence forcing at least the social media/PR game to step it up? It's good to know that funds were raised for these worthy organizations; I wish we could know how much and what went where.

Honestly, I think it may be the fact that they poached Christian Jones from Megs.  While Jason may be a "special advisor" still, the Cambridge PR game truly changed once Christian took over.

I didn't realize he'd stayed at KP after the split. Very interesting considering that pap walk she did with him right after he was hired.

Both Kate and William seem to have very good Private Secretaries, both establishment people who understand politics and diplomacy

Dr Simon Case
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Case

Catherine Quinn
https://www.gov.uk/govern...nt/people/catherine-quinn

Christian Jones, too, is ex civil service and probably much more establishment than the lunch pap walk suggested

And I mean establishment in a good way because this is the royal family we are talking about here. It's evolution, not revolution. It's soft power not empowerment. It's knowing where you stand and who goes through a door first and when to shake hands and who Black Rod is and when you curtsey or don't curtsey and how to have politically neutral small talk and which fork you use for haddock and do you tip your bodyguard at Christmas and which regiment that man used to be in and and all of that.

And, I think William and Kate are actually listening to their staff, which counts for a lot.

I think itís great that they are doing great PR wise but honestly I hate when Pr is more important than the person and to be honest itís the person who like first than the image.

I was actually thinking about how good their social media game has been. Whoever has been running it fooled me into thinking/feeling they have been doing more than they actually have for specific charities/causes over the years. IMO this is what happens when you don't use word salads that scream 'ME! ME! ME!' instead of highlighting the charity, event, or cause itself.
