I know I made some criticisms of Kate that were quite piffling and unnecessary.

Very pleased with this happy couple now. And grateful we have them.

I was never negative about Kate and didn’t think much about her for a king time. I always thought she is really pretty and now I’m a sugar for them.

They are really shining in their roles, even more so with Harry and his wife out of the picture.

Plus when I look at them, they know each other, seem like actual friends and on each other’s team. A solid couple. Where did I read recently that he/they are much more modeling after the Queen/Philip than his parents. Maybe with her parents, too. Embracing duty. But differently, not at the expense of critical relationships. Thank god for her family. William hit the jackpot there.

They have leveled up and it’s good to see. If I were anti monarchy in England, I’d be less so with these two on the horizon. Plus their adorable kids. They get it.

Very sad for the whole family. Lupo wasn't that old either. Hugs and comfort to all of them - especially the kids. It's their first real experience with death, is it not?

It is sad and a pain I know all too well, many times over. The kids have never known life without him. My mom had a dog that was one year older than me and I was 13 when she passed. It was awful.

RIP Lupo, only 9.  He was a loyal companion to them especially Kate in the early years of their marriage.

Oh, how sad. 9 was so young! Sad It's always awful losing a beloved pet, a member of your family. It's a pain that doesn't go away for a long time.

I think they usually live around 12 years. So a a few years to average but a pure bred usually lives shorter.

I feel for the kids.  I can't imagine especially being home all year,  I'm sure Lupo was closer than ever with the kids.
