Wonder if the placement of his sword was on purpose. Even back then.

I came across Stained glass in the Church of Our Blessed Lady in the Sablon in Brussels, Belgium, depicting King Albert I and Queen Elisabeth of Belgium.

I have affection for Belgium, having spent time as a summer language exchange student there. That was where I was introduced to the blanc cassis in a green stemmed glass and the parfait aux fraises in a blisteringly hot summer in 1983. My host family wondered why I liked to visit the old medieval churches so much--it was the coolest place to be! The stained glass in Belgium is spectacular.
