That is hardly my point. The point is race and racism is strictly O/T for a number of reasons. Whether you think something is racism or not, it doesn’t really matter here. It’s O/T regardless. |

IMHO I don't know why the whole H&M subject wasn't moved to the members only section wiith a high member-posting threshhold. There seems to be some self-regulation within that member group. Perhaps I'm missing some nuance in the postings.  |

It’s O/T regardless.Sooooooo.....ok. What IS your point, do YOU even know?? That made no sense whatsoever. Even if something isn't racism it doesn't matter here and it's still off topic? That is what you just said. You don't know what racism is, move to where I live and I'll show you. It's disgusting that people cannot even creatively criticize Meghan without being called racist. Cannot criticize Kate without being called a mommy-shamer. Yet I've seen some horrific stuff said about other female royals (typically the ones with no children) and most male royals from around the world. When you try to set the rules, your rules make no sense and your moderators cannot even communicate them clearly. Not to mention that you aren't discreet, you post public messages in bold when someone has done something wrong. That's really rude and unnecessary. Above all you won't accept being called out on your own behavior. But I guess you cannot hold yourself to the same standards you love to hold everyone else to around here. |

People who post here have accepted the rules, this is Maria and Thomas forum, and they set the rules as they see fit Racism is O/T because mods have lifes and this topic requires someone 24/7 moderating the subject, and that's not feasible. They dont want that subject discussed here, and they're within their rights And I'm sure we all know what racism is, and certainly Maria doesnt need you to show her... |

I mean, are we ignoring that people often made jabs about Meghan in relation to Africa or even accusing her of pretending to be white? The moderators made the right decision here. There’s criticism, which I feel the moderators are open about allowing, and then there’s making up things using thinly veiled (sometimes not even thinly or veiled) racism or prejudices. |

It’s literally impossible to separate the discussion of Harry from the discussion of Meghan so it’s too much trouble hosting the discussion at this point. Moderating RD isn’t our full time jobs. In fact we have full time jobs and RD was meant to be running with as little moderation as possible. Thus topics are closed when they cause too much trouble and pm’s are answered when there’s time for it. |
