^ Yes, and it becomes harder to host any board on whatever subject if half of the current "features" cant be discussed because people are a weeeee bit off their rockers when it comes to their favorites and see insults where none are meant. If, for example, I were to say, "Gee, she (whomever) would look so much better if her hair was not hanging in her face", it's not a death throw down, you know? It's just it would be nice to see (whomever) her face... Many times the same thing was said about the SIL when she first married in, until she learned to cope. I don't remember people being this hysterical about that, but maybe it's selective amnesia on my part.
I took some years off some Spanish royal board for the same reason, out of the blue I realized you were either a fan or a hater of the then Crown Princess, and current queen. There was no middle ground, and some users went from friendly to nasty just because... the admins had to ban several users and moderate the forum constantly, the whole situation got out of hands; I really don't get the point where people forget we are dishing about royals, in this case, who don't give a damn about what we say. It's a pity it had come to this, especially now when there are lot of jokes/witty remarks we could make on them, still, it is what is.
