Can't remember his name.....MEGA rich -- in line to be Duke......his family owns the castle where the Harry Potter films were made??? Pippa (at one time) wanted him and kept showing up at his parents castle................I think his sister trained to be a blacksmith??

I think you mean George Percy. Pippa did date him on and off, but apparently they were just friends. I don't know if he is friends with the royals or not. ..of course George Percy...................I just hate when something in my brain will not work.............. I thought Harry used the last name of WALES...............but his son Archie has the full Mountbatten-Windsor?? Whose idea was that??? Where did the name Archie come from??? The name Harrison?  ? |

The last name of male in descendants of QEII and Prince Philip is Mountbatten-Windsor. The use of Wales, Cambridge, or York is more akin to a nom de plume. When William and Kate had their French lawsuit they were call William and Catherine Mountbatten-Windsor in all the legal documents. Anne's marriage certificate to Antony Armstrong-Jones has her as Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise Mountbatten-Windsor. Archie is just like James and Louise, who are not Wessex but are Mountbatten-Windsor. I totally understand the confusion as the use of Wales, Cambridge, and/or York as if it were their last names is IMVHO stupid and confusing. No one knows truly where they got Archie from. Rumor has it her childhood cat was named Archie after the comic and they named their child after the cat. Personally I see an anagram of Rachel (switching and I for the L). Harrison means "son of Harry". Not a real original bunch those British royals. |

From Harry's side I hope for a Spencer cousin. Eug and Bea seem to have strong potential for being godmothers, his close friend prince of Lesotho seems also a considerable choice.

The Percy family pile is called Alnwick Castle, they have a marvelous Poison Garden there. I'm the poor relative of the Percy's, hence the avatar. |

That would depend on how close the Bowes-Lyons are to Harry. The Bowes-Lyons are really cousins of The Queen and only distant cousins to Harry. Unless they are also his friends I don't see them being invited to be a godparent anymore than say Lady Gabriella or Lord Frederick - who are the same degree of relationship but weren't close enough friends to Harry to be invited to his wedding. Lord Frederick and Lady Gabriella even grew up in Kensington Palace about the same time as William and Harry but that wasn't enough to develop the required degree of friendship.
Harry and Meghan will chose friends and maybe a close relative, but only one who is also a friend as William and Catherine did for their three children.
