Re Meghan's apparent weight loss:  she is probably going for that "look how fast I lost the baby weight!" thing that so many celebrities post about all over the interwebs.  As has been pointed out, it took nine months to gain that weight, it can take nine months to lose it.  Trying to do so too fast can't be healthy (mentally or physically).

Except she looked noticeably wider in the face a few days ago.

We actually don't know what she looks like, she wore dark jeans to Wimbledon and the pictures we saw from Archie's christening we can't see her body. I think Meghan is still trying to figure out her postpartum body which is normal. I think this pregnancy surprised her with the amount of weight one gains.

The Duchess of Sussex was wearing Dior and the Duchess of Cambridge was in Stella McCartney for Archie’s christening today. Two photographs taken by Chris Allerton in the Green Drawing Room and the Rose Garden at Windsor Castle have been released.

In this picture little Archie has an air of Diana about him. It's not any certain feature I can put my finger on, but it's there.

We only saw her once - a week ago or so, to the baseball event.
The pic I have chosen against this for comparison is from Dublin visit last year, July. I have chosen it because the skirts are both a bit A-line.

The blazer she wore at Wimbledon was a rewear, originally it was oversized and at the match it was so tight on her arms the shoulders no longer sat in place. There's nothing wrong with being heavier 8 weeks post partum: it's natural to be.  I think she's doing a couple Hollywood tricks to look thinner: dark colors,  oversized blazer, the bronzer/tanner (its pretty splotchy at Wimbledon) to look leaner. I mean who would want their post partum body criticized so she's doing what she can.

I think she’s losing the baby weight  at a healthy pace. Kate dropped her weight FAST, maybe too fast. Their bodies are so different, Kate is tall and long limbed, Megs is short and short waisted. I am built like Megs, and having kids changed my body so much. Even when I could fit back into my old clothes, my shape was so different. I had to find new flattering styles and do major wardrobe overhaul.

I can't imagine Meghan isn't fussed about it. I can see her like Kate obsessing over getting back to that weight; Kate shared that William teased her for gaining weight and how she needed to lose more. I hope Harry isn't like that with Meghan but I am not holding my breath. Remember Meghan is the one who had a contract with her ex-husband about nutritionists, trainers, dropping the weight quickly to be as s he was before, but I think it is a rude awakening how your body changes even when you do lose it all and even then some. Our ribcages and hips expand.

I lost my pregnancy gain in 5 weeks,  but I sure as hell didn't look like I did. Your composition (muscle:fat) and some bone structure is different.
