Its wonderful when your parents can spend tens of thousands of dollars just so you can “get a degree” but at same time hang out, jet set and party without those boring studies getting on your way They do not care about a personal development, self-control, integrity, skills, relationships, a learner’s heart. She can now show off her diploma and as long as her parents can provide with the money...no worries. But I say this event was mockery of a degree, and a shady practice Wondering if she will get a big inheritance, to maintain her current lifestyle (or hooking up with a rich sugar daddy). Because I can't imagine she can make it on her own…………. Me neither. She gives great impression of being useless and shallow So far they have managed to keep up with their lavish lifestyle but who knows how long they can continue to spend like this? Eve, for everything you said, especially the bolded parts - I doubt she will use her 'degree' in whatever it is, so at least she won't harm anyone. If she will seek employment where her connections cannot help, I doubt companies will see her degree as anything serious, especially after a quick google search. Anyways, good luck to her. Perhaps, at some point, she will put herself together and do something useful with her life. Principessa, i also don't see her making it on her own. only the mother of the family seems capable, all the others seem unprepared for life. This family's behaviour, esspecially MC and MO's, make me feel ashamed for them. Most of the times I read their topic, I'm thinking that they're associated with Greece and I feel soooo embarrassed.

They sold out a long time ago - first to have the Danish connection yet again .... and then they got booted from Greece . . . . seriously . . . happily the ex King and Queen found a mega bucks daddy to fund them going forward . . . does anyone think that the in laws of the Miller daughter have paid their way for any time ever ?? On the plus side I'd doubt that MC and Pavlos are too challenged . . . they are happy to go to an opening of an envelope . . . .

In MO's instagram, I saw another photo with a graduation hat and a different outfit from her original post. Did she buy the hat in order to shoot multiple photos or the students are allowed to keep their hats?
You're allowed to keep the cap. I have the caps from my bachelor's and master's degrees somewhere at my parents. You only rent the gown and hood. They don't regulate what you wear underneath the gown but those photos of her posing with the gown open are so tasteless. It's supposed to be formal dress. Not something you open off and drape off yourself. So tacky. Especially with the outfit underneath. So utterly tacky.

Here, the uni has the hats and the ceremonial gowns (each uni in different colour), they are provided for the graduation ceremony only. We have to sign in a paper when we take them and then again when we give them back, in the end of the ceremony.

There's a company that holds a monopoly on renting out academic dress in the United States and Canada (as far as I know). I can't think of many universities that would have academic dress on hand, they normally outsource it to a third party company. The caps are fairly inexpensive to make so there's no point in asking for them back. I don't think I'm allowed to keep the cap for my PhD graduation though.

I wasn't going to fly out to walk so I just bought the hood.

Most of the professors I know own their own academic dress (whether that be master's or PhD). Most of the time though they'll just rent them. The cost is crazy. I was looking at buying mine rather than renting once I graduate next year and it's a small fortune. It doesn't help that every school has a different gown and cap for PhDs. At least with a master's the gown is generally the same, just the hood is different.

What do you think Olympia will do next? She said she wants to work in fashion so maybe she'll join her mother's company.
