https://nypost.com/2020/0...millions-after-his-death/The bank had $693,157 in assets when Epstein died back in August and then, four months later in December, the estate transferred $15.5 million to the bank in two separate checks. Southern Country then sent back $2.6 million, leaving the total deposit at $12.9 million, the outlet said, citing records filed by the estate last week. By the end of the year, the millions were gone and the total assets at the bank were just below half a million dollars, the outlet said. During a court hearing Tuesday in the Virgin Islands on the estate, Judge Carolyn Hermon-Purcell, who’s overseeing Epstein’s $653 million in remaining assets, questioned the lawyers on the cash transfer, saying the “disclosure was not satisfactory,” the outlet reported.
https://www.foxnews.com/u...-previous-estimate-reportJeffrey Epstein’s estate is worth over $57 million more than a previous estimate and it’s made over $1 million by selling off some assets including a Bentley worth almost $200,000, according to new court documents filed in the Virgin Islands.
A new estimate values the dead financier’s worth at over $634 million, according to court papers filed in Virgin Islands Superior Court by lawyers of the estate.
Epstein’s estate was originally estimated to be valued at over $577 million around the time of his death, according to documents released with his will at the time. https://www.nytimes.com/2...-epstein-estate-bank.htmlFree- but you must create an account to read. I hope his victim's lawyers are following all this closely.

Jackie Speier’s Question to DOJ on Epstein Raises Eyebrows in House Intel Committee https://www.thedailybeast...urce=articles&via=rssIn a closed-door briefing to members of Congress about government surveillance, a senior Justice Department official was asked a surprising question. Rep. Jackie Speier, a California Democrat, prefaced her question by saying it was a bit off-topic. According to two sources with knowledge of the briefing, Speier then asked John Demers, the Assistant Attorney General of the National Security Division at the Justice Department, whether Jeffrey Epstein had ever worked as an undercover FBI asset. Then she pressed him on whether he had any personal knowledge of Epstein—a convicted pedophile who died in jail last August, awaiting trial—working with the FBI.
Demers responded that he worked for the Justice Department, not the FBI, and that he had no knowledge of Epstein doing such work. The question raised eyebrows, as it appeared to be based on a theory that law enforcement officials may have turned a blind eye to the serial rapist because he helped them gather information.
A Justice Department spokesperson declined to comment, and a spokesperson for Speier did not provide on-record comment.
The Miami Herald reported in November 2018 that, as part of an extremely generous plea deal he received from then-U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta’s office in 2007, “Epstein provided what the government called ‘valuable consideration’ for unspecified information he supplied to federal investigators.” The Herald said it was unclear what information, if any, Epstein shared with law enforcement.
And Vicky Ward reported for The Daily Beast last August that Acosta later told Trump transition team officials that Epstein’s case was connected to intelligence matters. He went on to become Secretary of Labor. “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone,” Acosta privately told Trump transition team officials before his confirmation, per Ward’s story.

Oh wow that is great news I hope the delay in getting her was to make sure the charges were water tight. She could be protected just as much as Epstein. She is a vile human and I hope her victims (they are not just his) get justice served hot on a silver platter.

I get that Andrew is vile but Ghislaine is exponentially worse. He slept with three underage girls which is horrible do not get me wrong but she trafficked hundreds of girls for years and years and sent them to these men with no other option. She is a slave trader and child trafficker and I don't know legal stuff but she should be charged with assault on however many accounts.

So, skeptical me wonders if people Very High Up wanted the FBI to get her, say people highly connected and ALL THE WAY UP THE CHAIN at the Justice Department, because they want an outcome like that of Epstein. She knows everything. I feel like a cynic. I also feel like those two guards were set up to fall asleep or were given something to fall asleep on purpose. I don't believe for a minute he committed suicide.

Totally agree. The warrants were under the Southern District of NY (SDNY) which until 20 June was headed by Geoffrey Berman. The US AG Bill Barr, who has essentially been acting as Trump’s personal attorney instead of being the AG for the citizens of the US, fired Berman. This arrest was clearly underway before Berman was fired and I see a causality here. Let’s just hope that wherever she is incarcerated isn’t under Bill Barr. Because Epstein was.
