About the "Pauline designed the wedding dress":
well perhaps she was with Marie at the meetings with the designer and had some input, or she suggested something and Marie liked it, but I don't think it will be a very innovative or earth shattering design. Marie in most of her choices was not very cutting edge..a good designer takes the customer's personality into account.
As to the strange diaper-like Jeans belt: it is of Course ridiculous but also quite fun. esp. considering that the silk Jumpsuit was extremely classic and elegant, but fairly plain. She is Young and I like it when they think outside the box - that sometimes work well and sometimes we elderly gag slightly and wonder why..

I can exclude you dearie, but I have it on good authority that I was born not only last century but actually last millenia. Which makes me feel like I ought to remember that day on the Mount of Olives...

Why, yes, that last millennium birth year is a problem. It's so telling ...
But I don't feel old.
You have to spread the story in the way that you were present when God gave Moses the commandments for Moses to save them on his tablet ;-) - that sounds better.

Star  LMAO !! Laughing Laughing Laughing Miss Fairy is way funnier that most stand up comedians I've listen to.  Jumping Thanks for the laugh, it always feels good.

Back to the topic, I can't wait to see the wedding gown after reading your comments.  Icecream It's a bit strange, but I need to remind myself that Louis isn't marring Princess Marie of Denmark. That heat wave must slow down my brains...

Love your daugther. Adorable sense of humour.

So, when IS this wedding? I could use some nice gown & clothes & dishing. And I am curious whether Marie will wear a tiara or bejeweeled hairpiece. She is such a striking beauty!

I am considered 'old' and I think Pauline's belt is very clever. I think it will sell to young people.   I don't expect her to  design something i could wear, although designers like Christian Siriano are breaking that mold.    I look forward to the wedding dress.  The bride seems intelligent enough to rein in any designer craziness. It's her dress, after all.  Looking forward to wedding pictures.

So that's how they went to the civil ceremony ... I am a bit underwhelmed. A jumpsuit?

I didn't expect a jumpsuit but it suits her because it has clean lines and it seems a classic design, there's nothing too much.
