AS IF Imelda would take advice on how to stay out of limelight to live a quiet country life and tend her baby privately.

I'd rather bet that she was "privately" in Sicily with Handbang last weekend, and although all attendants had to sign NDAs and most probably also pics were prohibited, I am quite sure that if she was there, this will emerge.
Latest on Monday, after The Fail has assured us how well Imelda got along with HM in Balmoral.
Because events like the Google Camp is the "privacy" they are searching for.

The Queen wants Sophie Wessex to be an 'unofficial mentor' to Meghan Markle due to their shared wish for a quiet and private life for their children, royal expert claims

I can't figure out if I'm choking laughing so hard or the ironic hypocrisy.  "Quiet private live"  >> The queen has lost her freakin' mind

The last thing these two want is to fade into the background.  What megs wants megs gets and she wants to be an A list celebrity with Jackie O charisma and Di's angel halo mixed in for good measure.   The only thing she's going to achieve is mockery and diminishing the BRF brand.  Mark my words, they'll rue the day she entered the family!  They just thought Di was bad, at least she had a compassion and a feeling for people, she tried to play the rules for her sons sake IMO.  Megs doesn't care about the rules, the family or I suspect Harry really, but she knows a golden opportunity and she grabbed it.  It will give me great pleasure watching it bite her over and over.   btw I really liked her, I get how they all made the mistake of not seeing the con but she doesn't have to hide her real self anymore so she won't try to bother, she thinks to heck with all of them, it's her stage, they're all just players.    JMO
Poor Sophie.

The Queen is very fond of Sophie. She'd never put her through that!

Meghan should be sent to Princess Boot Camp with Anne as her Drill Sargent. That would put her to rights or send her packing.

They all have done a pretty good job at having a quiet family life. M&H are the only ones who seem to be in a 3 ring circus.

So ... I presume all attendants to this wonderful party have followed Handbag's true leadership and swore a holy oath right on the spot to refrain from having further children TO SAVE THE PLANET and make good for their trips?

Really, you couldn't make up such shit.

___

Does Balmoral have a dungeon? If I were Philip, I would chain Imelda & Hangbag there as soon as they set foot on the estate, throw the key into the next Loch, and pretend they never arrived.

I don't think Balmoral has a dungeon. Queen Victoria built the place as a holiday home, so to speak.

There is the Round Tower at Windsor. They used to keep the prisoners there. Lots of cellars to the Castle too . . .

Then there's the Tower of London. Lots of previous 'celebrity' occupants.

I think it's pretty clear that Harry and Meghan don't care what the average boring British tax payer thinks. Their actions now have a clear pattern to them - grand speeches, celeb tie ups, glamour, fashionable causes, a jet set lifestyle, super woke buzz words. They aren't alienating British people by accident, they are clearly pitching themselves at an international, A list celeb lifestyle and are cultivating the networks and fandom that will support that.

See no puns, no  hidden meanings in my words. This whole romance etc  blahblah etc  mess reminds me so much of the advertising campaign for The Omen long long  ago -- so effective that I still remember it after all these years.
I agree with your  posts in their threads :publicity stunts and hipocrisy, that's all there is to this silliness. Can grown-up people  in their right minds believe that a prince/ princess is a supreme being? Can they possibly  believe that the masses must be guided because certain supreme beings know better?
Again, I still don't know why I'm wasting my time and yours.  A smack on my face.

Thinking about Anne running Princess Boot Camp made remember this funny equestrian quote a friend found years ago....

Quote
Beware
I ride horses; which mean I own pitchforks, have the strength to haul hay,
and have the guts to scream at a half-ton animal after being kicked, bit, shoved, or stepped on.
You will not be a problem.

No clue who came up with it but damn it works in this situation.

I found a YouTube channel "Murky Meg " who discuss the mediatic train-wreck Meghan and Harry are creating. I watched a few, they mostly about what we talking about on RD. Here is the latest :

Are Meghan & Harry breaking point & can this negative reputation survive?
