That picture is perfect, Velcrohead is clinging for dear life to the second coming of mummy and chasing after her like a lovesick puppy. And she is full speed ahead, damn the torpedoes. He's in for a rude awakening one of these days in the not to distant future IMO.
Run, Harry, run!

Shocked Perfect picture indeed ! Body language and their faces' expression is priceless !

Meghan is playing her handbag and her stans like a pro !!  Laugh bounce

This is really not looking like a royal tour at all but rather nouveau riche and uneducated tourists who try hard to look smart & casual.

I agree with other dishers, UK has now its own Bogan & Clown Prince royal couple, on steroid in comparison to the original.  Secret

I just noticed.  Matching bracelets.  Matching brooches.

So kewt!  Halo

Re. the jewellery, one other thought. It might be that she was advised to leave the engagement ring at home (size of the stones, value, ...),
but why would she not wear the simple gold band and/or the eternity ring? They ARE as tiny as the rest of her vast collection.

She's wearing her Welsh gold band.  Don't know why she needed a second.  Why put a "cheap" ring underneath it? The 1st ring is usually the wedding band,  followed by engagement as wedding band should be closer to your heart. So Jennifer Meyer is closer to her heart.

That second ring looks too big. Also it’s so thin! I would be scared it would snap.

So far she had no access to jewelry rather than the pieces Harry had inherited from her late mother, and she chose to wear minor ones, it's yet to see whether he got something out from the sapphire's demi parure (or even the whole set), I even wonder if he got the famous sapphire choker. William is going to inherit the bulk of the jewels' in due time, plus the crown jewels, so perhaps her mother had that in mind when she chose to mind that. We'll see in due time.

Since they haven't go any important even, no tiaras yet were needed, and we cannot tell HM's approval by her willingness, or lack of, to share any other tiara than the bandeau. Is anybody aware whether she got anything at the wedding? I know he gave her some pieces she used at the wedding but nothing apart from that.

There is no rhyme or reason for anything these two get up to IMHO. What they wear, what they say, what they do.

For your average tourist, yes, leave the engagement and eternity band at home. But she's not your regular tourist, and they've plenty of protection.

The cheap looking clothes and lack of her good jewelry makes her look contemptuous of the people and country she is visiting.

I'll bet $50 she's pregnant again. Anyone want to take that bet? Pour cement on the deal.

If I remember correctly, Charles gave her some Cartier pieces as a wedding gift. As you said, no State Dinners for her as yet, so we don't know what swag Harry may have inherited or what HM might see fit to loan.

Stupid question from this non-Brit. I thought South Africa wasn't in the British Commonwealth anymore...yet there's a High Commissioner there? Why? And this is in addition to the British Ambassador to S.A.? Just curious.

How long is this tour? Because if this is only Day 2....

That reception dress is HORRIBLE - my god it accentuates that middle chunk of her where there is zero definition. And the olive dress from the back, she really filled out in the back, good lord!

These clothes are so casual the are insulting to their hosts.

Maybe not pregnant yet but left some weight on to improve the odds? Ladies, please, we need a 'conceived in Africa' storyline for the next one.

Thank you. I had read something where it said it left in 1960. Since it's back in the Commonwealth, does that mean the Queen is its Head of State? Sorry for the dumb questions.

Not a dumb question at all. The Queen is HoS for only 16 of the 53 countries in the Commonwealth.

I've never had a baby so I don't know, but I thought you couldn't get pregnant if you were breast feeding? Is that true?
