Meghan's rewearing clothes after splashing $15k on a Valentino dress. Archie is wearing H&M Conscious collection ($25 outfit), but $20 Bonpoint socks (not a $20 pack, it's for a single pair, the pack is $130) |

LOL. I don't think he is the cutest baby I've ever seen. He looks like his dad with a hint of Megan's father. I expect he'll grow up to be a looker like his dad. I agree that it was clever PR to have his first public outing with Archbishop Tutu. |

I thought it would be interesting if Archie looked exactly like Megan's dad. That way she would see her father every day. I think there is a hint of Thomas in the shape of the face. It was a charming photo op, although a poster on another board stated that the British people should have had the first look at Archie. Whatever the case, I think it is a very well done first look at Archie. When they are walking and Harry calls him, it is really cute when Archie answers. |

I had hoped they would have shelved Meg handing over second hand baby grows, or at least done it quietly... But no.
The tour is doing a good job at promoting Meghan and that guy she married. What's his name... I think he used to be famous and interesting. It'll come to me. It's doing less well at shining a light on the causes they are visiting. Or fostering UK-SA links. Or bigging up the royal family.
Also, without the arrival, visit with the president and slightly fancier reception, it doesn't feel like a royal visit. More two celebs wandering around a country in search of cute photo ops.
The baby looks like a baby to me. As long as he's happy and healthy, that's enough for me (I don't have a maternal bone in my body)

The willingness to show off baby to the commonwealth and keep him hidden at home is a complaint that’s been leveled previously against this generation of BRF. I don’t know what the deal is, other than being willing to use their child as bait to keep commonwealth countries “sweet” so to say. “Here look at my kid, please don’t leave” . |
