‘Prince Harry gave a barefoot speech at a secretive Google Camp climate change conference in Italy according to reports, in front of an A-List crowd who flew in on 114 private jets. The Duke of Sussex is said to have given a passionate speech about saving the planet while being watched by Naomi Campbell and Leonardo DiCaprio, among other celebrities and power brokers.‘

So as I say, not as I do, eh?

The Daily Mail has it too: [url][https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7307197/Prince-Harry-guest-list-Googles-Italy-climate-change-conference.html/url]

The comments are not kind. If only the average silly Brit was as woke about the environment as all those super yacht owners?

And all of them fly with private jets, have their own swimming pools etc. Very environmental friendly indeed...

If Harry wanted to make people think about climate change, he should have skipped Italy and gone to see the flooded communities in Cheshire.

The problem is Cheshire is not glamorous enough for the Dim Duo.

Leo is one of the biggest climate hypocrites around.

I think that now 'sustainability' is becoming a big corporate rallying point there are goiing to be a lot more instances of pointing out the hypocrisy and the lecturing of those at the top and 'the rabble'. I'm sorry, why should I not take a plane just because YOU think I shouldn't? These folks were able to be self-congratulatory and hide away for a while, but that isn't going to (sorry) fly anymore.

The level of raging narcissism, deluded self importance and out and out hypocrisy is too high for a short period of time the Hazbeens have been a unit.

It took Mary of Denmark at least 5 years to become the creature that she is. It has taken these nupties less than 2 years to be the equivalent level of repulsive.

The BRF are in trouble if they don't bring these 2 to heel. With Brexit, the economy, Andy's future indictment due to Epstein and a myriad of other things they cannot control; it behooves the BRF to deal decisively and effectively with the things they can control i.e. the Hazbeens before the war for survival goes into high gear.

I read somewhere that Harry said that people's ignorance about the environment causes the earthquakes. Was it on the same meeting where he talked about him having only 2 children? I would like to tell him one thing or two about his own ignorance and maybe he could live on Greece or Japan, to see how it's like to actually live with earthquakes.

His ignorance irritates me and it's not only that. This kind of opinion, having and expressing an opinion when you have no idea about what you're talking about it's absolutely dangerous. It's dangerous. It's like  an accountant giving the wrong medicine to someone who has a problem with their liver. Harry is not the only one who does that but he ought to know better because of his position. They don't have the knowledge for this kind of lectures. TBH if they have actual knowledge and experience, they would be more modest on expressing their opinions, they would have known about the doubts, the limitations etc.

Flooding yes,  hurricanes yes,  droughts, yes.

Volcano eruptions, oh poor boy.

But in a way he is right to limit his family.  His carbon footprint alone is worth entire schools of people.  His children will be even worse,  all the perks of money with no accountability. This is how they're raising them,  no? I'm thinking less Zara more MO. Their access to wealth and never getting a job means they will spend their lives vacationing and putting a larger footprint than daddy on the planet, no matter how many trees they plant or green paint they use. Each child will put a footprint equal to hundreds of children of the average human,  so he's really making 200+ children worth of damage with this pledge.

I think a little humility would go a long way with this initiative. Recognize where you could improve and don't pretend to be perfect. Sure, I compost, try not to use plastic whenever possible, pay attention to electrical usage, walk places that are close by... but I also drive to work in a city with a pretty extensive public transit system because it's way easier and faster for me. It's great to champion these causes but acting all high-and-mighty while ignoring the ways in which they also contribute to the problem is pathetic.

Bad optics, really bad. This after he made a big deal about limiting the size of his family, and a few months after he lectured the hotel worker about using plastic. He doesn't think that's the problem, and is so entrenched in that lifestyle and in his celebrity status, that he can't think beyond it. Thumb down

I'm already there.

As someone who used to genuinely like Harry, it becomes more than tiresome to watch him constantly inserting his foot into his mouth.

This idiot and his wife have taken my interest in royalty as a whole and peeled it way back.  I find myself less active in the fandom over all because I am tired of seeing the Sussex's faces everywhere.  I've never seen two individuals take so much goodwill and squander it all in less than two years.  Harry and his wife are a joke, a parody of human beings who seem convinced that the world cares what they have to say when in reality, NO ONE cares and we are shaking our heads or laughing at their inane attempts to remain relevant.  I wish they would he and his wife would just go away.

The 2.100th  Star for you.  Laughing Laughing

So, according to Markes & Spencer, if I'm not woke enough, the volcanos we have here in France (in Auvergne) will awake again and burn us miserable wokeless miscreant heretics !?  Blink

I agree with you dishers, I'm making jokes because it's the best their media debacle inspires me but it's getting a bad parody, like a trashy TV-reality show. I liked the Harry who supported Sentebale & Invictus Games (he even made a video with his grand ma!), I thought then -not so long ago- that his rebellious bratty years were behind him.

And yes, Antevorta, I’m there as well. Heartily sick of their faces.
