Oh, no!
Mary was fine until now... oh, c'mon Mares, you can do it better!

Yes, now we know for sure that she can.

Generally speaking, her fashion-miss are more than her fashion-hits but lately she was doing better in this matter.
If acting as regent is that she wanted, I'm glad she got it and I hope she and Fred will continue to behave kindly to each other, at least in public.
There is also some ease and peace with Joke and Marie, which haven't seen so far. Nice change, overall.

I wouldn't put too much in the regent thing. Denmark is a constitutional monarchy. It's not like Mary can rise her clothing budget all by herself or really decide about anything.

Of course not but I think it's more deep... mentally, so to speak, she feels better and it shows - if the recent change we see comes from this decision. But, imo, I think there's something else behind the proximity that Fred shows towards Mary.

We might have an explanation about this closeness: sadness from Mary...
Their four children will leave to study in Switzerland next January ( just posted in the children's thread)

While I was wondering if the Derfs had a hard time handeling their own children and that therefore it was decided to send them all four to boarding school in Switzerland. It is weird all four at once.

Given what Fred said about being neglected by QMII and Prince Henrik,
it's strange for him to agree to send ALL his kids away.

Plenty of good schools in Denmark.   In Copenhagen.

Agreed. I feel bad for the kids to be pushed off like that. How can they maintain a relationship with their parents being so far apart from them?

According to what was posted in the children's thread, Mary stated that is was a short term thing and it sounds like one of the parents will be with them (this was based on an article or interview she did). Doesn't sound like they are sending them to boarding school long term. Wondering if this is something like exchange students here (not sure what other countries call it) where kids may spend a semester or short period of time at a school in another country. Usually they are older and their parents are not with them, but maybe this is something similar where the kids are just getting an opportunity to study for a short time in Switzerland and still be with a parent.

I had the down market version of this outfit in 1979 I am not kidding. Bias cut plaid skirt and puffy sleeve white blouse.

Eh, I agree with the lady in the background in the first picture. Madam looks like a model from the Sears catalogue circa 1973.

Why can’t Brigitte Macron ever stand up straight? Is it a health issue?
