I have to say Steph looks incredible in that pink dress - wonder if she went shopping when they were in Morocco recently? the gents all look very dapper tonight too

Per UFO No More, Stephanie's gown is from Oscar de la Renta, not Morocco.

https://ufonomore.com/rec...ilk-crepe-gown-in-magenta

She obviously did. Pink suits her, but sorry, the kaftan is totally out of place. In another thread there is a discussion whether or not it is appropriate for foreign visitors to wear local traditional wear of their host country  (hope this is not OT).  For Linus it is ok to wear a Moroccan kaftan in Luxemburg during the Belgian state visit and no question or eyebrow is raised? Smells a bit of double standards IMHO.

If it is a de la Renta I take my post back.

Apart from the astroturf arrival outfit, Mathilde has looked great all tour.

Stef's make up has looked really good at her three events.

Anyone else fighting the ridiculous urge to slap Gui's hands away from Steph in the picture in which she curtseys to Mathilde?
I know his is her husband and I know he simply wanted to be nice and helpful, but for crying out loud, stop that cringeworthy touching and adjusting of hair, position and whatnot. I feel like I need a dose of lysol...

OMG, I didn't notice at first glance but now I can't oversee it any longer. It is creepy and cringeworthy.

Mathilde is helping her too, Steph seems to be even holding herself on her. Maybe she was unsteady on her feet ?
I wonder what it looks like on video. Will it be another cringe-cult moment like these two only can do ?  Laugh bounce

It does look better on video. He is touching her briefly, not as creepy as the photo suggests.

Mathilde needs to quit the botox - her forehead is getting close to Sheikha Moza's fivehead country. (I have to admit the hairstyle and hat add to that feeling). That, or she should consider an upper eyelid correction.

Most of her clothes so far are typical Mathilde: appropriate but meh.

Linus however - what happened to her caterpillars? She finally found a way to tame them??
I really do not mind her mumus/kaftans/wider clothes. There may be all kinds of reasons why she doesn't want to wear anything with a visible waist. The fabric of both is very nice, the embroidery festive, and she stands upright. Hairdos fine, jools fine. Het MIL does the mumu thing all the time, Charlene does it, Max has done it (though more tailored).
She has an old face (as in 30's era), and the dark lipstick makes her face look all porcelain doll-like. But the ensemble works, even if she's wearing a purple crab cake (as in a cake topped with a crab) on her head.

I love the hat and cape, it looks so cozy in the rain. Mathilde has such a kind face too.
