A better view of her new tiara

There are speculations about the tiara being a reworked version of Queen Elisabeth Necklace. I am not sure of it.

I don't see it personally - they look very very different.

Didn't she get gifted a tiara or necklace on her 18th birthday? Wasn't it from the Belgian nobles like her mother got on her wedding day? Maybe this is it in tiara form.

She was indeed gifted a necklace from the Belgian nobility for her 18th birthday. I guess we'll know in due time if this one is a loan, the gift, or an older family jewel they found on the vaults  Tongue

Not a fan of her dress...the color washes her out IMHO but she's for sure her mother's daughter because she oozes understated elegance
It's a beautiful tiara

Thanks to royal jewelry supersleuths  Champagne
Elisabeth new tiara might very well be ( or at least be a twin of) the Vestey Tiara.

Good find!  Is this the same Vestey family that rode in the carriage with Will and Kate at Ascot?

That is a gorgeous tiara

Yes, it's the same family. The man who was with Will and Kate is the the youngest brother of the current Baron Vestey and they descend from the lady wearing the tiara in the picture.

Very nice tiara for Elizabeth and thanks for the link to the history behind it.  Love the provenance and glad she has it and not a new piece.  She seems like she’d appreciate this piece’s story.

Very similar indeed.

I didn't care for the dress Elisabeth wore - a nice color, that's about all I can say for it.  But the tiara, I'm 100% behind.  Really pretty; good for a young and older Princess.  She did look charming for her big debut & I only wish Good King Phil had been there to lend her his arm.   There's just something so touching about a dad leading his girl on these occasions.

I love her Armani gown, it's hard to pull it off, but she pulled it off beautifully. The tiara is also beautiful, but not on her, it's too old fashioned. I think it looks better on that old noble woman than on her.  MM's tiara would have looked perfect on her IMO  Smiley.

I think she looked every inch a fairy princess. And alterations to the Armani gown were perfect. And what a radiant smile she has!

Beautiful tiara, both imposing and delicate, and interesting to read of its potential provenance. Thank you for that IG link, Elissa.
