Princess Elisabeth is going to be godmother to the Belgian antarctic research vessel, the "Belgica II". Hopefully that means we will get a ship christening ceremony.

When Lil (As in Phil, Til and Lil) was 13, she christened the Pollux:

She is certainly getting a great education.   There seems to have been a lot of thought & planning - which is how it should be!

I hate for her that her last year didn't get to end in a better way like many kids graduating from high school and college. The school sounded so interesting and fun (I went to a local public school in a rural area in the south, so an international school in a castle in Wales would've been a dream for 16 year-old me!).

Really impressed she's studying in Belgium, and within a military college. It's an impressive and sensible decision. (But then, she seems like an impressive and sensible young lady)

Itís actually a family tradition.  But she will only stay one year and then continue her studies elsewhere. Contrary to the other recruits, she didnít have to pass entry exams and wonít be receiving a salary. She will be boarding full time though.

According to a fan page on Instagram, Elisabeth has begun military school. She is currently in the "initiation" phase and will attend a ceremony to mark the end of this phase at the end of Septembe, with both Philippe and Mathilde attending.
There are some press photos online (I always struggle to post photos on here as I dont want to infringe break any copyright law!)

Is she going to be queen?

She is first in line to the throne and provided she is still around, will succeed her father on his death or abdication
