For a minute I was confused by this elevation, until I remembered that in Wurtemburg they were "only" serene highnesses.  Highness with no modifier is higher up than SH, but one step down from royal highness.

Oh those Germans, with their umpteen levels of titles!

There is Grand Ducal Highness in between.

It's:
1)Frau/Herr von...
2) Ihre/Seine Erlaucht (Illustrious Highness) f.e. for Counts like Waldburg-Zeil family.
3)Ihre/Seine Durchlaucht (Serene Highness) f.e. Thurn und Taxis
4)Ihre/Seine Hoheit (Highness) f.e. some Dukes f.e. Duke of Saxe-Altenburg.
5) Großherzogliche Hoheit (Grandducal Highness)
I think it's not used anymore. It was used in Lux, Hesse and Baden for the younger children of a Grand Duke. F.e Alexandra Feodorovna was a Grand Ducal Highness Prior to her marriage
6) Königliche Hoheit/Royal Highness
7) Kaiserliche Hoheit/Imperial Highness

I actually think that's the second youngest, George (future Duke of Kent) and maybe their daughter Mary next to him, because of that outline of the hat behind his head. Georgie was sent to the naval college at Osbourne in 1916 when he was 13, and he would have still been a pupil there in 1919. Johnnie died midway through January of that year and was never sent to formal schooling, so he wouldn't be wearing a naval cadet uniform.

Here's Johnnie, probably late 1918. I think he looks a lot like George VI.

That's definitely not John, but George (Duke of Kent).

Oddly but I see a resembalce to Denmark's Xtian, the puffiness on the cheeks, the eyes, even the mouth and the general bone structure. I knw that Xtian is mostly Donaltson but I see a resemblance here.

The London Needlework Guild was the favorite charity of Queen Mary. The guild was established in 1882 as The London Guild by Lady Wolverton after being asked to provide garments for a London orphanage. Queen Mary's mother, the Duchess of Teck, had been the guild's patron.

When Mary arrived, she found Prince George, Louise's brother there as well. Louise inquired, "Georgie, don't you think that you ought to look at the frogs in the pond?" George proposed beside the pond. Princess Mary accepted.

karma chamelion, I found the anecdote quite interesting when I first read it. I like the fact that Prince George liked going to his brother-in-law and sister's residence.
