Queen Victoria of England on her wedding day in February 1840 received a gigantic cheese. Farmers in Somerset made a massive Pennard cheese weighing over 1,120 pounds.

When Princess Irina Romanov married Felix Yusupov in February 1914, Tsar Nicholas II of Russia asked Felix what he would like as a wedding gift. Felix requested a seat in the Imperial box in the Marinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.

I think it was because only members of the imperial family (and not their non-IF spouses) could ordinarily sit there.
Romanov brides usually received complete sets of jewels in each of the main precious stones: ruby, sapphire, pearl, emerald, etc.

Princess Louise Margaret of Prussia married Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught on March 13, 1879.
Queen Victoria gave the diamond fringe necklace.
The Town of Windsor presented the Princess with a diamond bracelet having a rosette center.
