All of Stéphanie’s siblings have Marie as their second name so it’s very possible that she’ll do the same for her child.

One of the tarot readers I follow is predicting a girl born in the first half of May.

Gui and all his siblings also have Marie as one of their names. So it is very probable that they will follow this tradition.

IIRC the first pics of Amalia after her birth were taken by MT. If the current confinement rules in Lux allow it, the "dear" grandma is certainly going to take the first pics of the future heir.

I wonder if Steph is going to opt for a home birth. Right now, nobody is keen for a hospital stay.

maternity units are running OK at the moment ( they have too!) - probably better for Steph to be in hospital early on than having to be taken as an emergency when things start to have problems. Obs and Gynae experience tells me that she may well be high risk  / run into problems needing intervention - primip /mid 30's /  previous infertility etc

I have no doubt a whole hospital wing has been disinfected and sealed for her ever since the pregnancy was announced.

To be on the safe side, Stef and her husband and baby should probably isolate from M-T until the child is at least 18 years old.

no chance of that.... it will be happy family at 100 paces ... poor Steph I doubt she really knew what she was getting into.... MT would have been charm itself with an iron fist in her silk gloves... and then her mother gone and her father very infirm ... MT was in Paris when his funeral took place.... says it all.

Isn't it funny, how all of us are anxiously waiting for this Baby to arrive? To me it seems like it is looong overdue..(which I know it isn't) while the Arrival of the Bhutan Baby completely surprised me! When the Dragon baby's birth was announced I felt like it was only a moment since they had announced her pregnancy..

Yes, same here fairy. It was anounced, and next day the baby was here. Wish we would have a photo released of the 2nd Dragon Prince.

Steph has to be glad that she lives in 2020. 100 years ago and her loving mil would probably take the child and raise it herself.

Didn't that happen with Sisi and at least one of her daughters?

It happened with the first three children, Sophie, Gisela and Rudolf. Sophie died young so Sisi being depressive didn't quite fight anymore for Rudolf.

She never developed a good relationship with her two elder children.

I came here to see if there was baby news. Haha we seem to all be wondering the same thing. I hope these last weeks and days are good for Stephanie. Hopefully the baby will be here soon and will be healthy. Best wishes for a smooth delivery!
