It must be a Canadian thing because we wear navy/brown together all the time. Brown is more acceptable with navy than black. I think her outfit looks great haha.

It wouldn't have been so bad if it had been a dark brown, and the pants longer. I do wear both a medium brown clog and lighter than tan loafer with jeans.

Ducking and covering head - both pair of shoes are . . . suede.

Just became aware that today I am wearing a jeans (and a pink sweater with a big boat neck and a black undershirt) and short brown booties, with black elastic at the sides (no heels).  So even a combo of brown, blue and black  Wink

I don't mind brown and blue either and yes it's worn here too. However for this combo to work the colours have to be coordinated, the blue is too dark for the light brown and vice versa.

I joint the team of blue / brown wearers. Guilty as charged!  Yes  I ever do prefer to wear brown than black when combining with navy, if I don't have appropriate shoes in navy. I wear brown shoes with jeans without blinking!

But I agree though that it looks better with a darker shade of brown in combination with the navy blue.
