good outfit but the trendy shoes are silly. She can't quite telegraph serious professional with her clothes. She could probably rock much heavier eyeglass frames too.

I believe they are.

I love the green suit. I also love the green Rockstuds. Should they be worn together?  Confused

I really like this suit - great cut and color! I'm on the fence with the shoes as well; I think plain black heels would've been fine, but she looks pretty good here. Jewel tones are definitely her friend.

Well that would be a first!! Halo

Actually like her Outfit and since I am a fan of the Valentinos (even though I would probably maim myself wearing the Spikes and studs) I am ok with it. Colorwise it fits and technically the Vals are classic heels so that#s ok.
Like the specs..

I just came here from the Vic&Dan thread and I'd say that Mary's trouser suit is styled and fit much better. I like her specs and dark green suit. Mary got teary-eyed when she spoke about the loss of her mother.

Well I wonder if we are going to see more of Mary in glasses? There are so many stylish frames now and she is at the age where she probably needs bifocals.

Well I wonder if we are going to see more of Mary in glasses? There are so many stylish frames now and she is at the age where she probably needs bifocals.

Finding new glasses / frames has long been a drama for me. Especially finding ones that suit and flatter my features. Even as there is so much choice with regard to frames.

I have mainly worn (soft contact)lenses from my early 20s on (the moment I discovered I needed glasses or lenses). For the sake of convenience, I had a period I wore glasses a bit more often. But this was also because of the costs & I finally found a flattering and nice frame. For years I kept an  eye in optician shops for flattering frames, but practically everything was too big for me, hadn't the right form or didn't fit. This year, due to eye issues and my old glasses no longer correct, I had to look for new glasses. Don't know how I managed it, but I decided and ordered glasses within 1 hour at my regular optician. Originally a childrens frame. Unfortunately after wearing it for a short while, it was discovered the fit wasn't right for me (irritation and such on my nose). Lucky enough, there was the option of the same frame a few millimeters bigger and in other colors. I wasn't that happy about other colors, but I got used to the new colors and also others remarked these colors also suited me.

I love Mary's look, the pantsuit is fantastic and the color is lovely on her and right for the season. She rocks eyeglasses, she should wear them more often.

Totally agree - if not anything but Mosh is an actress...

SHe's done this stunt in the past, too: Remember her "promotion-film" when she got engaged to Fred? It's the same act ...

Mary has always had a bit of an older vibe with her clothing and hair choices I think because they kind of harken back to the 1970s. The winged hair and A-line skirts and pantsuits. Very dated in a way. I think glasses change that up. I also think she could totally work heavier and funkier frames it would finally get her looking updated without being overly trendy. They also make her look serious which she doesn't come across as to me because she's always looking for the camera and doesn't seem to have much to offer besides shopping and dieting.
