The court also shared a video from the visit. So sweet. The girls were so excited to be there!  Cute

"I want to meet Crown Princess Victoria"

7-year-old Emilia is battling cancer in the form of a brain tumor called ependymoma. Emilia loves everything royal and likes to watch the Nobel Banquet and TV programmes about the royal family to see the princesses in their beautiful gowns. On her Big Day, she wanted to meet Crown Princess Victoria.

- I wanted to ask Crown Princess Victoria how it feels to be a real princess, and if she also goes through hard times in life sometimes despite being a princess, Emilia said before the visit.

On Thursday morning, an excited and very happy family was picked up by the limousine who drove them to the Royal Palace in Stockholm. ⠀
After arriving at the Palace, the family was escorted up to the magnificent Blue Lounge in Princess Sibylla's floor where cozy sofas, a large crackling fire and a dazzling dessert table awaited them. Then Crown Princess Victoria entered the room.

They had a long, heartfelt and relaxed conversation about everything under the sun. About how the Crown Princess lived in the Palace during her first years, which regnal number her father the King has, that tiaras require a lot of hairpins to remain on one's head, and that it is important to be careful when walking down the stairs to the Nobel banquet wearing a long dress. The Crown Princess and Emilia also talked about life - and about how it goes up and down.

Emilia and her sister Maja also discovered how fun it was to play and run around the Royal Palace, and that the desserts on their plates were always refilled. When it was time to say goodbye, the Crown Princess had arranged a real surprise for them.

Aw, I needed a dose of Swedish princess magic. What a beautiful memory for Emilia to cherish. Hope her treatments go well and she's back to update us all with her remarkable recovery very soon.
