Max visited Hotel V Nesplein and Koninklijke Horeca Nederland in Amsterdam. According to the website for Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN), they are the largest organisation representing hospitality businesses in the Netherlands (www.khn.nl)

I so wish that Max would do something with her hair. It just looks so unattractive the way it is.

I read a horrible article that vast amounts of tulips are going to waste in fields because not shipping them around the world as usual. Aren’t flowers a HUGE part of the NL economy?

I saw a US article showing a field of onions or something also going to waste bc no shipping no supply chain or buying or something like that.

Good for the Dutch RF at least trying to provide moral support.

Yes, I know like everywhere else.

But come on, this is not the first time Max has looked like this.

Due to the Coronacrisis the sale and export of flowers has dropped enormous. As far as I known their main profit is this time of year. Some flowers have found their way to internal market, sometimes for free. Also no Dutch flowers for the Pope (Dutch flowers are known the grace Saint Peter square and surroundings during Easter)

Weird side effect: currently the flowers are blooming in the fields, a beloved area for recreation and tourism. Dutch government (both national as local) asked people to avoid the area around Easter and later. As it was overcrowded before past month. Some small roads were blocked by guards, but still too many people came to area.

Also the well known flower exhibit De Keukenhof is closed, but online you can find a (drone) video of this years exhibition.

Every year there is a flower parade (bloemen corso), which goes through several places in the area. This was also canceled this year.

Just added a new place to my bucket list of travel—keukenhof Park.

I am born and raised in the Netherlands, and I only visited it for the 1st and only time about 2 years back. And only because I visited a friend who moved nearby De Keukenhof for love. Due to circumstances it had to be a short visit, so I had time left. Spontaneously I decided to go to Keukenhof. Indeed a beautiful place, but crowded.

At this point, all she needs is a comb. That would do wonders.

Maybe if she put her hair up in a pony tail she'd look more groomed. Her hair is messy even when she has it professionally styled, so I don't blame her for her disastrous hair these days.  Maybe she should consider having it cut into a nice bob – that would make it look fuller and healthier.

Just the ends. I’m sure one of the girls could do it. I am so lucky that my mum is staying with us and she was a hairdresser.
