From engagements in the last couple of days. Nice colours, terrible skirt in purple terrible top in beige. Naturally both by Natan and the top is from 2013

how to download all images from instagram

The first set of pictures and outfit are of:

November 18 - Visit to Boeg B.V. & Bow Nautic

Queen Máxima paid a working visit to ship repair and construction company Boeg B.V. & Boeg Nautic in the context of the Day of the Entrepreneur. This day, which will be held on Friday 20 November, is an initiative of MKB-Nederland to celebrate entrepreneurship and thank entrepreneurs for their courage and commitment.

The second set of pictures and outfit are of:

19 November - Visit MBO Utrecht

Queen Máxima paid a working visit to MBO Utrecht, where she attended an online lesson and a practical ICT lesson. The visit focused on the impact of the corona pandemic on education, internships and the well-being of teachers and students.

The impact of the corona measures on secondary vocational education is great. The more than 500,000 students have limited access to school for practical training in an adapted form, and they receive online lessons.

The Queen talked to the school administrator, teachers and students about their experiences with distance education and about ways in which practice-oriented education can still take place. After a meeting with facility support staff, the Queen visited an "internship simulator". A mobile studio has been created in the school's canteen so that students of the stage and studio technology study program can still gain experience.

The visit was concluded with a round table discussion that was broadcasted via a livestream for the employees of MBO Utrecht.

MBO = secondary vocational education

November 13 - Visit residential care location of 's Heeren Loo

Exactly periwinkle. One is a happy person who seems to love her husband and one is Mares. Makes a big difference.

Still thinking that the 1st attraction was WA's status, but they indeed seem to be happy and well together. Max also found a way in the associated work. Including own iniatives, which fit her background and interests. What created goodwill with the Dutch people was her will to learn the Dutch language and culture even before the wedding.

December 2, Queen Maxima opened the National Year of Voluntary Efforts 2021 in The Hague. The event is held under the slogan People Make the Netherlands and voluntary organizations are drawing more attention nationally to the connecting value of voluntary work. Voluntary work contributes to solutions for social issues such as loneliness, poverty and the need for help and care.

Rough translation:

Bewildered by inappropriate comment during online meeting with Máxima

It was a shock during the online conference of Fempower Your Growth - an organization for female entrepreneurs - attended by Queen Máxima. One of the spectators made a very inappropriate comment, and the queen was visibly baffled.

More than a hundred female entrepreneurs and bankers were allowed to call in during the closing meeting of Fempower Your Growth, including Queen Máxima as a special guest, according to images from the television program Blauw Bloed. "What an honor that you are here", the spokesperson starts. However, she is interrupted by one of the other participants: “Can it also get a better picture? Or will it remain this shit image? ” it sounds. It is unclear who made the inappropriate comment, but the queen was clearly taken aback.

The discussion leader then apologizes. “It wasn't here in the/this hall, but who said this? I have to say that I am a bit off my feet. Okay, I'll just keep going. Apologies, Your Majesty. ” Maxima then throws her hands up in question, also bewildered by the language used.

Red.: according to the article the used word was 'kutbeeld', which is literally translated as 'cuntview'. Apparently the connection including view wasn't working well (at the start). 'Kut' also seems to have become a kind of standard swearing word / bad use in the Netherlands.

Mind you, if I were a translator, it would've become 'fucking' view/visuals or if the speaker was fromt Brabant, where the use of 'kut' is much more accepted, 'shitty' view/visuals.

I am absolutely 100% sure that Max's daughters use the word talking with their friends and even when they are annoyed about something to their parents, but they will be told off then.

In a professional setting with a queen 'present' it is very silly and unsophisticated to say.

When I heard the remark, including the way how it was said (via the video in the Twitterlink) it sounded very rude. Whoever said it sounded very annoyed. In such a setting unappropiate, silly and unsophisticated indeed.

And yes, I also use the word kut quite often to be honest. It even slips off my tongue during work. But then it concerns an informal work setting. Also in my surroundings the phrase 'Je kut voelen' and alike aren't very strange.

BTW before, in fights/arguments and the like where someone used "kut" (f.e. kutwijf) I often got people quiet (for a while) by saying: "Je moet niet gooien met lichaamsdelen die je niet hebt." (= Don't throw with body parts you don't have."
