I thought it was time Astrid got her own thread. I know she doesn't have that many solo events, but still, I think she deserves one!  Smiley

Here she is with CG at the Ski Tour 2020 in Trondheim yesterday

Astrid is great. I am amazed what she is still doing at her age (just like little brother Harald). I know MM is ill, but with regard to work ethics she can learn a thing of more from auntie Astrid.

She was gorgeous as a young woman.  I thought her wedding gown was one of the best.

A fun and lovely lady !

She was gorgeous as a young woman.  I thought her wedding gown was one of the best.

Indeed! And she had it altered to wear again as a formal gown

She's my candidate for royal I'd most like to have at my dinner table. I'm sure she's full of stories and has no qualms about sharing them. She's got ``good sport'' written all over her.

Wonderful montage!

I noticed, in the b/w shot of her baby's christening, you could see Count Flemming of Rosenborg in the background.  Also, it's Margarethe of Sweden meeting Elvis, not Birgitta.  The princesses were doing a promotional tour of the US on behalf of SAS.  There's another photo series of them at Disneyland, riding the Teacups, all dressed up.  Very cute.

Thank you.

You are correct it is Margaretha. I have noticed the mistake in another post about Birgitta/Margaretha. But I wasn't able to change it anymore over here.
